I personally think it's not OP but that's not important. Discuss and play nice.
I'm happy to see some discussions going n in the comments (even though I'm in some of them).
I'm not sure why my poll has 0 likes even though it's just a poll and not all of my opinions being shoved down someone's anus but still, I'm happy I started this little topic.
Think Sunsingers are OP? Tell me why so we can have a nice debate.
Think there fine? Tell me what makes you think that.
-
No, they just aren't, but the people who abuse some of the perks with 3 grenades and MAX discipline are kinda asshats
-
No, because it's supposed to be a support class, and the firebolt combo is just a knife edge sunsingers have.
-
They are strong but shouldn't every super? It's what makes them super right?
-
They are weaker now then they were in Year 1 as the ability recharge rate has been reduced, and are otherwise the same as when the game released in day one. To put in another way, by comparing it to all other subclasses, it is amount the weakest, if not the weakest (it is for me). It has a good neutral game in PvP and that somewhat forgiving self-res in elimination/ revive based PvP game types, but that's it. Their just so weak, and the hunter and defender Titan neutal game is far more versatile. The main strengths are the grenade and melee, and yes they are strong in skilled hands, and the self res is all well and good, but they are easily countered (magnetic grenades, supers, sniper, shotgun, good manoeuvring, heavy, scout rifles (at distance), mida, thorn, a strong 'unexpected' fusion rifle, suppressor grenades (when they work), doctrine of passing type auto rifles, viable primaries, down and doubt legendary hand cannon, and so on), and please think of PvE. PvE should not be affected by PvP at all in terms of weapon/class balance (I'm tired of viable and/or fun weapons becoming useless, unfun, paper bags (aka weak) and desolated versions of themselves (sunbreaker is almost there; auto rifles were there, and now clawing their way back; and hand cannons have the damage... But that's it).

Edytowany przez użytkownika Guardian5429: 4/5/2016 8:38:47 PMSunsingers haven't changed. They are the same now as in Yr1. It would seem the true cause may be the caliber of player is changing as the new batch of Guardians feel they've finally outgrown Pokemon. Wonder what y'all will feel like when Yr3 rolls around and your little brother Johnnie feels he's now way too grown up for CandyCrush. What goes around comes around kids. It's called Karma. Or maybe you recall it as "the circle of life" from Lion King. Hakuna matata, children, hakuna matata.

3 OdpowiedziThey should not have an oversheild just from touching someone.
-
2 OdpowiedziAmazing that literally every pole with this question ends up being no but yet Bungie will still nerf them
-
10 OdpowiedziI don't feel like a lot of things are OP, but certain things like the overshield are OP. They shouldn't practically get a second health bar by touching someone
-
1 OdpowiedźViking funeral should only go off during super. Other than that, pretty even
-
And the nades
-
Is 14 seconds without a shield op? yes it is.
-
6 Odpowiedzi*86% no* *gets nerfed into oblivion anyways*
-
4 OdpowiedziIt makes no sense why people cry about it. Everyone is entitled to use it. If you choose to be a Hunter or titan that's your decision.
-
3 OdpowiedziViking funeral should be erased, otherwise nah. Self rez? 1 shotgun blast (from most) or sniper headshot and they are dead. Fire armor? Run away, or get close enough to shotgun them a few times. Reduce cooldown? Kill them normal. As for melee, flame shield should maybe have slightly less duration, and the other 2 are good as is. Grenade? Well, fusion is something all classes have. Then for solar grenade, if you can jump away from the area, you're fine. As to firebolt, if you are 15m from the blast it shouldn't hit you. So just stay away from doors.
-
The melee ability is only effective in close range, good luck with that in a firefight. And its only a 1 time hit to get a shield The firebolt is the only offensive perk, because the super doesnt do shit compared to all other subclasses. The strength of the sunsinge ris in having good weapons, and staying back with a scout rifle. And i wanna add one more thing: PVP RUINS PVE, this has been proven over and over again. All the cruci crybabies, dont come sobbing when your favorite subclass is all useless in raids, Poe and nightfalls. Get rid of crucible for good, or make a sepparate patch for pve and pvp

7 OdpowiedziEveryone who said no literally only runs warlocks Prove me wrong
-
1 OdpowiedźThanks for this poll. #StopTheNerfs
-
They have the worst super for pvp in the game On a trials match is like -Warlock die - enemy team go somewhere -self res - boom headshot .. guardian down
-
10 OdpowiedziShot gun melee

1 OdpowiedźThe only thing that touches me the wrong in Sunsinger is Viking Funeral. Also, I play as Sunsinger in PvE and my firebolt grenades keep imploding instead of doing the damage it's suppose to. How do I fix this?
-
I hate how class nerfing is always the fault of PvP players. Do they realize that it inadvertently ruins the PvE experience. If they touch anything that deals with a sunsinger's ability to self res, I'm going on a PvP forum genocide.
-
I wish there was a "Half/Half" option. As a Sunsinger (while my other group members main Hunters), my only complaint about them is that the Viking funeral talent do last a long period of time with the burn damage. Combined with fire bolt grenade and one shot from almost any weapon, it's nearly impossible to survive the battle. I know it's a tactic, but if Viking funerals time on burn was reduced a couple seconds or the extended burn time is removed and only keep the boosted burn damage, then I think it would be a little bit more balanced in terms of competitiveness.
-
It's not OP but it is slightly too powerful. Viking funeral needs to get toned down
-
8 OdpowiedziI really don't understand how 84% of the people who voted think it's not overpowered. Ever play trials recently? Once you get into 5-9 wins where you play more serious teams, there's at least 1,2, and in many cases, 3 -blam!-ing sunsingsrs on the other team. It's so easy mode.
-
Just the burn needs to be calmed down
-
My kd is higher on my hunter and Titan then my warlock. I'm a warlock main. I use sunsinger in trials but my stats for trials are identical on all three classes. For trials I got a 1.05 warlock, 1.02 Titan, and 1.08 hunter. Warlocks HAD the firebolt combo, Titans have lightning grenade, and hunters has smoke+voidwall.
