I wish, had enough of this leveling bs

2 OdpowiedziThey kinda did what warframe does with boosters. You don't need them but if you need a small boost. They are always there for you to purchase.
-
1 OdpowiedźIs there a "Kind of" option...?
-
2 OdpowiedziConsidering there is rep boosters which directly effect the rate at which you can acquire gear thus increasing the rate at which you have get legendary marks and such it technically is but on a very minute scale. While pay to win can be seen as a singular statr rather than having varying levels I prefer to consider dedtint currently on the tipping point, they jumped on the slippery slope back in september, now they've reached the end of said slope and are currently considering taking the plunge which these sterling treasures technically suggest they have already put one foot forward to test how far the drop is.

1 OdpowiedźSterling treasures don't give crap in terms of light level advantages
-
No because you get free sterling treasure each week, and they only drop as light level 3

Even if eververse sold weapons (it never should) If those weapons were obtainable ingame it would still not be pay to win. Payers and players both have access to it. Pay to win would mean you could ONLY buy gear and/or weapons that cannot be obtained by playing and said gear gave an advantage over other gear ingame.

3 OdpowiedziYou can dismantle them for legendary marks, you can essentially buy legendary marks.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika Astartes Marine: 4/13/2016 4:39:34 PMNot really no, the gear you get has the same perks as other legendary armor and only comes as 3 light right off the bat. You still have to hunt for higher level gear to infuse it and bring it up to par. Is it an easy way to get purple armor? I guess...still gotta infuse it. I'm still concerned, as I have always been, that this is still bungie testing the waters, slowly implementing more and more buyable things to see how far people will allow it to go.

1 OdpowiedźIt will be in the future. Watch and see...
-
1 OdpowiedźPay for style yes
-
1 OdpowiedźWould have been if the armour dropped at random light levels or had specific bonuses but it's ultimately still just cosmetic. It does kind of seem to be why they fixed infusion though, I can imagine they wouldn't have sold as much if you needed a ton of gear to get it to a usable level. Still fine with it, free market principles helping us out.
-
Still can't buy anything that you can't get in game. So no.
-
2 OdpowiedziIt's not exactly winning its just kinda like getting a fast pass at a amusement park your just getting shit faster
-
I spent $10 on silver got most of the spektar set some of the desolution and like 6 rep boosters. All of the armor I got is 320+ now because I earned stuff to infuse it with.
-
It's paying to win how you look.
-
1 OdpowiedźNo. I only spent 28$ got full desolation set for my hunter looks cool with the dance

Edytowany przez użytkownika J4M13 3N1GM4: 4/12/2016 12:26:52 PMIf it was pay to win, there would be 335, BiS gear for sale. There is not. This poll is reundant. Anyone saying it's pay to win needs to uncork their self proclaimed "privileged" buttholes, and grow the hell up. Also, quit bitching. Makes you look like you're still in elementary school.
-
1 OdpowiedźIf you think eververse is pay to win, then you've never played a truly pay to win game.
-
Not at all, the only thing that you gain from getting them is the time that is spent having to play out the game for the 3 a week.
-
1 OdpowiedźNot pay to win, more like pay to skip. Like warframe, you can grind for everything or if your lazy just buy it.
-
12 OdpowiedziIT IS LEVEL 3 ARMOR THAT YOU MUST INFUSE WITH A STRONGER PIECE OF ARMOR FIRST IT IS NOT PAY TO WIN YOU PLEBS

8 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Clocky: 4/4/2016 11:51:44 PMNot really...the stuff is effectively cosmetic until you earn the infusion fuel normally. I guess in theory someone could buy gear until he gets "perfect rolls", but since you can't preview the stats that's not financially viable even for whales. Edit: apparently the cosmetic armor just takes on the stats of your infusion fuel. Yeah, not worried.
