Can a panic smash be shut down?
Been playing a lot of mayhem this week and the one thing that pisses me off is when I use my super on a Titan just as he starts a panic smash and nothing seems to shut it down. He can have half health and I'll hit him twice with an arc blade and I still end up dying. Can the panic smash be shut down?
Edit: so it looks like the source of my frustration is the Unstoppable perk. Thanks for all the response.
Edit: lol, I love all the "I shut them down all the time with my xyz without looking or trying. I even do it from orbit sometimes. I shut one down with a dance move one time. " responses. No salt, just pure amusement.

Only done it once without heavy. Body shot from PR and then he smashed, but I got him in the head before he hit the ground.

Unstoppable is an aptly named perk. Usually avoidance is the best medicine. Jump away and up, let the wave pass you, then finish them off. You can usually spot them coming because they look like they're on a kamikaze run.

Golden gun, Nova bomb, shotgun to face, super clutch/lucky snipe. Not many ways, but they are there. Now if he has unstoppable... Yeah... You are kind of dead. Unless he wiffs it =p

Even if they're not running unstoppable, once they pop their super, I can't kill them. Only way I've ever done it is if I got lucky and back stab proc.

All the PvE and decent PvP players somehow become gods at the Crucible at the sight of someone wanting advice or if they feel that their subclass is threatened in any way. My advice, though? Don't bother playing your luck. If you see more than 1 or 2 Strikers, just switch to Gunslinger or NightStalker. It CAN be shut down but it isn't worth your frustration.

Another smash can do it. I don't know what the difference was (Unstoppable, maybe) but I did my smash at the same time as another Titan, and I walked away with just a sliver of health left.

I'm guessing there's a delay and I'm not seeing the foh animation on my screen, to me it looks like they are not in there super but in real time they are.....it's annoying...but lag

Got shut down by a shotgun in a game earlier. It wasn't panic, I was gonna use it to kill 4 people at heavy.

It's latency, trust me. I go games where I try to use my super 5,6 times n can't coz I get shotgunned or meleed mid super, n I'm full armour build.

Yes you can, with out unstoppable it has the same damage resistance as arc blade.

I get shut down all the time when using Fist of Panic. I need to work on timing a bit more

Yes. A low armor titan can be killed by a 1kys archetype of sniper headshot, and a max armor can be killed by a Black Spindle headshot. Good luck hitting them tho.

I get wrecked while I'm trying to slam 2+ enemy's, Me being the slammer I need to be sneaky, I hate only using it on 1 person lol.
