Is the way I use my controller wierd?
I've been told I hold my controller in a very strange way. At first I thought I used claw but whenI found out what claw was, it was completely different.
Claw has your thumb on the right stick and your index finger to the buttons. What I do is use my index finger to aim the stick and my thumbs to press the buttons. Wtf? You may ask. Well it works for me.

Your finger not get in the way hitting the top button (y)? How about the trigger? Middle finger? I know on ps4 I use both index fingers for the l1 r1 and both middle fingers for l2 and r2, dunno if that qualifys as odd but felt like sharing.

I know there are cases where you would position your fingers in unusual layouts to be able to pull off some otherwise difficult techniques. As someone who doesn't use said techniques, it's hard for me to testify. But hey, if this style works for you and your hand isn't messed up by now, I say it's all your choice.

Very weird though it is more like a reverse claw.

2 OdpowiedziI tried claw once. Didn't really work for me. My thumbs are always on the analogs. Whenever I slide shotgun I bring my index down from the trigger to the buttons and use my middle finger to shoot.

I made a device that translates the electrical signals from my brain into the controller's node. The only downside is how many holes I have to drill into my skull.
