Bungie please make level 42 POE matchmaking!
From what I saw on your stream this should have a matchmaking option. It didn't even take them 20 minutes to clear all three bosses!
What do you guardians think? Should we have a matchmaking option for this endgame content?
Edit: I understand that they were all level 335. I know it will be harder than it looked. My point is this is not a raid. LFG is has less and less people on them every week. Soon there want be anyone left. Maybe a few hundred the way things are going.
Edit2: seems to be a lot of interesting posts around matchmaking. Some seem to think it could ruin the overall experience. My question is could Bungie implement some sort of restrictive matchmaking system? Something along the lines of light level restrictions. Say if you are 320. You could only be matched with 315 to 320. Same goes for higher light. 321 to 328 or 328 to 335. They could even give us control over the restrictions. There doesn't have to be a vast amount of options. Just a few that would give us more control.
Of course this would be all optional.
Edit3: Thanks to everyone that posted. Everyone's opinion is valid. We have been trending for a while now. Maybe just maybe this will be seen.
Edit4: A lot of people are saying make friends. Problem solved right? That is not the point of my post. We all have friends that play online or we can lfg like everyone else. My point is to give the community a choice! The choice to lfg, play with friends, or matchmake. Optional is key word.

This is all over the forums, and I agree completely. As long as it is optional matchmaking, it will not hurt anyone. This is very much needed.

Just make it optional! I just want to grind...finish the game and kill some aliens...if matchmaking give me some bad player then on next game lets pray I got better one but at least I can try to make the raid...Im one of destiny player who play since start and never do raid...because of the lack of matchmaking

1 OdpowiedźEnd game content would be horrible with mm. Bad enough on strikes when you get a afk-er or some really bad player who probably doesn't have the TV the right way round. Do not want this on end game content. You also have the ability to use this forum but can't use the mm page on here.

6 OdpowiedziMatchmaking for any 'end game' content would lead to more unhappy people, more whining posts on the forum, and more cries and demands to 'nerf' content because it cant be facerolled with idiot randoms with crappy gear, no communication and no coordination. The sheer amount of abuse matchmaking would lead to (vote to kick be abused etc) means the whole thing would be a nightmare for all who tried it. If you want to complete end game challenges, which can take an hour or more, then spending 10 minutes on LFG to put a group together really is not too much to ask.

Bungie claimed to be annoyed at all the LFG demands, so much they nerfed Gally. Those demands are still there, but wouldn't be with matchmaking.

5 OdpowiedziIt's already been pointed out many times in several threads since the beginning... LFG is matchmaking. Everyone on it are random people you don't know. Might as well make it matchmaking.

If not matchmaking how about some sort of lfg kiosk in the tower? I seem to remember a rumor about this last week.

1 OdpowiedźI just want a fast track to 320 now so I don't have to do kings fall (people were extremely elitist back then and I just got frustrated and quit back in October and now it's one of those things where people wouldn't give me the time of day if I tried now) I might play again. Of course if everyone requires touch of malice and spindle then it'll be as if bungie gave me no new content at all.

I get what you're saying. I've been wishing they [i]at least[/i] added a text chat box in with a recruiting channel in the social spaces or orbit so if you wanted to raid, do crucible, or PoE and wanted to find a group fast you could just open the chat box and type something like "PoE [insert random number here]" and players who want in can respond with your number and you send invites. I'm not going to say that should be ready to implement because I have no clue about how they're engine works. It would cut time from going to an LFG site.

Everything should have the option of matchmaking and to go in with a fireteam, just have the option we don't want to use a third party site to play the endgame...

Oh, wait.. they did that, like in the game's very first patch. Voice chat channel for Strikes. Played this game for a year and a half, and holy shit, NOBODY has ever used that.
