Slight Matchmaking Refinement - 03/10/2016
[b]Effective immediately in all Crucible playlists[/b]: If your matchmaking cycle lasts several minutes, we've loosened a restriction that will allow you to find matches more easily. We do [b]not[/b] expect that this will impact the majority of players. In rare instances, this may result in matches with a wider variance in skill (i.e. More of us will get our asses kicked, but the connections to our ass-kickers will be good). The connection-based emphasis implemented by [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/44422/7_Destiny-Hot-Fix---03082016]Hot Fix 2.1.1.3[/url] is still in effect. This change applies to a small percentage of our players who were having a hard time finding a match.

Since I download the update, I went to play a crucible match and I sat there. I was messing around with my load out and finally realized I was searching and evaluating for days. I thought, well maybe they're trying to find someone as garbage as me. I tried a bunch of other playlists and got the same result. Finally, I powered down my Xbox One. Pulled the chord and wait a minute then pressed the power button 3-4 times. Cleared the cache. Plugged it back in and turned it on. After logging back in I was able to find a game within seconds. Still dealt with the red and yellow bars but overall it was fine. I would say the last time I had fun playing crucible was the valentines doubles event whatever it was called. I think year one maps and weapons are way more fun than year two. I could do without the dreadnaught maps. I miss my year one NLB a lot. I digressed.

4 OdpowiedziSo let me get this right, Deej, stop me if Im wrong, I attempt to try to be helpful, to make a suggestion, to improve the ride along stream and you, especially with this page for this last update article, say no, this is for what this was for to "excite" people by showing them them the artistry of the how the game was made and for what purpose. And this, is a demonstration of what, "communicating" with us being in contact with the public. Now Im not sure if your just following instructions, whether it be Bungie, or Activision or perhaps this is your choice, idk. But for, and to whatever end, doing a "if it isnt broke dont fix it" attitude wont increase views or improve peoples attitude when on stream, you saw all the negativity. I was there, just lurking. I can name, which I wont, at least 10 streamers well known, with large audience bases that have ZERO interest in attending your live stream and 50 people I know personally that feel the ride alongs boring, a waste of time. I am not a disgruntled gamer, angry, or even trolling here I care about this community, the future of this franchise, and where it goes from here, I wouldnt waste time or effort if I didnt. And again, I understand if you have to do what your told, heck, I work with the public and have a boss over me who I dont agree with every decision made. And if this small sample of numbers is any indication of a larger epidemic going on here, then Bungie or whoevers in charge I would feel would, and should be doing everything in their power to gain more of our interest/admiration. If the stream goes on as it is though, mark my words, itll fade, maybe not today, tomorrow, but over the course of time. Hemoraging money to something that is not drawing people to appreciate, or entice people to be involved not only is affecting the companys reputation, but Id think would be bad for business. But anyway Deej, Ive posted this 3 times, with helpful suggestions on how to improve it, even further down the line. You dont want it, or maybe bungie, okay, this is the last post and appeal Ill make to you just on behalf of even a small portion of your fanbase on this subject, good day.

5 OdpowiedziI dont understand why all this connection or skill based matchmaking came on in the crucible. I used to have a great time in the crucible during house of wolves and the only problem then was that the thorn dominated. Now Bungie is doing everything in their power to f*** with the system when nothing was wrong. I dont want to sound like a jerk but the crucible isnt for players who preform poorly. All bungie wants now are either sweaty and laggy matches or for me to sit on my a** for 5-10 minutes to find a match where i need try hard to win and have a positive k/d. These updates were an aweful idea and things should just go back to the way they were. Some changes were good and fun to play with like no special ammo at the start of 3v3 game types but all this skill based matchmaking that bungie put in to try and help the players who get mercy ruled or just overall destroyed in both points and k/d are very one sided. I wantto be able to go into the crucible again and have fun not constantly try my a** of and deal with all the lag. Please fix your game cuz its really starting do go on a decline rather quickly. After dealing with OPTIONAL MATCH MAKING for the last week I think this is a great feature that needs to be added ASAP! It works so well....give players the choice.

Playerbase is dead. Even connection based matchmaking will force you to play people around the world now.

The LAG/delay in games has dramatically increased steadily every month since release. I rarely complained in year 1, now i am raging every game.

21 OdpowiedziWhen it was announced that SBMM was in the game everything was great, no lag, balanced, fair and exciting games. Since then there have been a couple of tweaks bringing CBMM back in to some extent and it has gotten worse. The more CBMM there is the more laggy players and more unbalanced matches. Bring back the full SBMM, that worked the best.

9 OdpowiedziYour Skill based match making is a joke I got matched up with a guy who has been flawless 56 times, I've been flawless twice! Wtf?! You're still throwing ppl in together randomly and calling it something it's not. He had a 2.3 k/d in trails mines not even at 1.0 And a damage referee? What the hell is that? Another imaginary feature you make up to seem like your working on a problem? Or do you avoid messing with the game because every time you do you screw something up?

On top of your terrible matchmaking choices your damage referee hasnt changed anything. People who lag are untouchable and still destroy everyone.
