Why I hate destiny sniping

Thanks everyone for the "CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK" lol.... I wanted to provide some disclaimers for people just reading now.
1. On the self rez part the enemy gets a shield from rezzing his teammate and which is why he took far less damage. (was unaware originally)
2. I'm not against rez killing with snipers, I'm for a buff on POINT BLANK range on shotguns to help incentivize shotgunners be on the same level as snipers when it comes to rez killing
3. Primary Kills 6100 shotguns 6900... thats pretty dang even...
4. 2000elo 1.5kd if that means something to you
5. I dont claim to say there is a problem currently, these are just times when you want to throw your controller across the room lol

This game is a joke. The snipers are beyond generous.

The main problem with flinching is that it doesn't actually move your sights, if you get shot it will be at the exact same spot you aimed before you fire. All it does it bounce your little dot around so you can potentially miss shots but it doesn't do what it should, which is completely throw off your reticule/aim. You should be staring at the sky if flinching worked like it should.

They must've been lucky in their shots or a skilled practitioner in flinch sniping. Some of those shots were possible because you stopped strafing making you an easier target, though that can be quickly practiced out. Others already addressed the sunsinger problem, other than that it seems like snipers should have some stronger flinch.

As a sniper since TDB I agree that they should add more flinch and than if someone is using unflinching it would go to what it is now. Also agree that body shots do way to much damage and snipers should be used to reward precision. So maybe increase headshot damage but lower body shot damage? Anymore nerfs than that would be overkill. Another solution would be to stop nerfing things and start buffing guns so it would make sniping harder if everything has a low ttk

Looking through this post, I can say with confidence that every one bitching about him missing with the mida or getting outplayed or saying that he's just terrible hasn't watched the whole video. Drag-shotting needs to be eliminated clearly and flinch needs to be hugely increased. Props for demonstrating the issues with the video, really hard to argue against.

Snipers became stronger when the range and time to kill on all primaries except scouts were nerfed. When you have a pond and all the big fish have been caught the medium fish now rules the pond.

5 OdpowiedziYou only play as Warlock? Using VF with TOF, that kinda makes up for snipers. As for the video I noticed inconsistencies in how you threw the FB grenades. You would just chuck them, or even Rez back into a 1v2. Might need to adapt to the meta and get a 1YS and start practicing.

There needs to be more reticle bounce when being shot. I think that's a very fair way to get the jump on a sniper.

Snipers take a lot more flinch then people pretend. If you're headshotting a dude with a primary and he still manages to headshot you, that was skill on the Snipers part and he deserved that kill.

2 OdpowiedziJust need to accept the fact that 1KYS (or Destiny sniping in general) is easier for most people to kill with during Trials. Some of your clips is you challenging a sniper (who knows you're already there) with a scout rifle then dying then asking for a nerf. Get a couple shots in, if you can't finish him off think of something else like finding a different angle. People who mainly snipe will usually go to the same sniper lanes every Trials map. They get a lot of practice sniping those areas.

3 Odpowiedzistop playing the sniper hide and pop out of cover game. they will win those 100% of the time. the second they go into cover, rush, flank, or move on to another enemy.

This pretty much illustrates everything wrong with sniping right now. It's ridiculous that you can consistently land headshots and they dome you anyways. -blam!-ing bullshit.
