Blink Shtogun is still ruining the entire pvp experience.
Blink should be a defensive ability, not an offensive one. Shotguns still have WAYYYYY too much range, and the fact that 50% of IB players are using the combo has ruined the entire experience for me. This is coming from a destiny veteran who has been around through it all. There seems to be even more blink and shotguns than ever before.
Then you throw in the AWFUL lag that still remains in IB, and these pussies who can't kill anyone unless they are blinking on cool down are getting way too many cheap kills.
Make blink come with SIGNIFICANT offensive tradeoffs. I don't think a full 1-1.5 second wait period before you can fire would be out of the question.
And for those of you who will whine and cry and troll and tell me I suck, I can promise you this. If you use blink and shotgun as your primary method of getting kills... you are awful at this game, and don't ever convince yourself that you're any good.
Edit: I find it hilarious that 90% of people saying shotguns suck are still using them as their primary method of killing someone. Must not suck too bad huh? The so called range "nerf" did next to nothing to shotguns. You're all just scared they might ACTUALLY nerf them and then you won't be able to play at all. Bunch'o'scrubs.
Edit 2: Apparently people who use shotguns can't read either. My complaint was specifically with the blink plus shotgun combo. I don't care if you want to run around with your conspiracy theory D or invective. I think very few people who do are any good at the game, but hey that's your problem not mine. My issue is with the combination of shotguns and blink still being cheap and a dick move.

Blink jut offers another way to get close up to the snipers who are ruining the game atm they are everyway so if you take away blink shotgun combo then they should remove snipers entirely!!

2 OdpowiedziBlink shotgunners have been replaced with shoulder charge shotgunners and slide shotgunners. Just remove all range increasing perks on shotguns and we'll be fine.

11 OdpowiedziBlink shotgun is a tactic, a bit like when snipers pitch a tent at the back of the map and hard scope. What I'm saying is you can't complain about 1 and not the other. It's not the guns it's the people using them!!

For Crucible [i][u][i]ONLY[/i][/u][/i]. I used to just enjoy blinking around the map in PVE and now it just sucks.

As long as players can move, people will find a way to close the distance and kill you. Blinkers always move in an efficient manner. If you see one, run and slide under them and turn around. Shotguns are nice when a lot of people need to die very quickly.

Who uses shotguns lol other then me the rest of ya use snipers and who blinks with a shotgun still bcuz most hunters use tether and warlocks sometimes nova bomb sooooo

I don't use shotguns and I don't think it's an issue at all. Maybe adopt some tactic that allows you to at least give you a last ditch effort, like an attachable grenade. That's what people did with sticky grenades in halo to combat sword charges. Just back off and wait to stick em in the face. Other than that, I dunno. Maybe steer clear of shotgunners and take a little more time in the trenches to assess the situation.

I use shotguns but not blink, that being said it's in the game that we payed for. You can't blame anyone for using it. Why lock yourself out of content for the sake of making someone other than yourself happy.

I hate shotguns. But if some space ninja uses space voodoo magic to quickly teleport up to my d*ck and pull the trigger on his shotty, I SHOULD die. At least I hope I do. Wouldn't want to live through that.

Shotguns suck right now. And that means you do too, if you can't counter them. Shotguns are meant to be close range, and they are doing eh. Lemme guess, you are using a sniper?

Run forward and slide or jump back. This kills the blink shotgunner's "strategy". As they are trying to surprise you from above, it doesn't work out for them, when you're not near the spot the expect you to be.
