Snipers need a nerf anyone feel it...
Bodyshots, bodyshots, bodyshots they're like long range firebolts they need to cut down body damage and implement the halo method that removes people when hardscoped if shot. The amount of games that have become people team bodyshooting each other is ridiculous you either snipe or get sniped. It's no coincidence every game mode and trials have become a snipers paradise with guns like 1000k promoting quick body shots with insance rate of fire being allowed to tank almost all shots while landing that kill shot. There is no penalty for just shooting for the body, as a team of snipers will kill you with two shots everytime with very little to no skill required just knowledge of map. What's worse is since the majority of Destiny maps are tiny they can launch a firebolt or use last word to finish the job.

1 OdpowiedźLower the body shot damage= makes them more headshot oriented Add sway while walking= reduces the pesky corner turning snipers I think that's all they need to be completely fixed. Shotguns btw would recieve a range perk removal. No more rangefinder. And fusions get another nerf. [spoiler]lol they get buffed to a faster charge to counteract the cone spread[/spoiler]

1 OdpowiedźHonestly, snipers just need to slow down. Bungie needs to make snipers ads time, reload time, draw time, and overall handling a bit slower. Damage is fine. Aim assist isn't a problem. Just make them slower

4 OdpowiedziNothing wrong with bodyshots. The object is to shoot the other guy and not get killed in the process. I got a Wey March with partial refund for assist. To maximize this perk would be to get body shots and let my teammates finish the guy off. Now I make them a quick killer while I get extra bullets. Tell me why that's a bad thing? I'm just playing the game to my guns strength. If I'm taking direct fire I'll go for the head for the instant kill. I'm trying to win the match. I don't care who gets the kill.

17 OdpowiedziNo, it's a sniper. The best way to nerf the usage is limit ammo. Doesn't matter what armor you wear, max you can carry is 6 bullets. And that's it. Spawn it, once or twice a game. and for ice breaker and side arm glitch, you lose ammo as soon as you switch gear.

5 OdpowiedziI think snipers are fine. Maybe add descoping, so players will think twice before always hardscoping. It may encourage people to use their primaries more often.

My answer for snipers is this: In score based game modes, primary kills are 125 points, special weapon kills are 75. In elimination modes, you start with 15 rounds and don't get any special ammo. Changing special weapons resets ammo at zero. If you want to use icebreaker, you are using your exotic slot and you can't refill another special weapon with it.
