Who else is fed up with these ignorant "nerf sniper" topics. Funny how they were never an issue prior to the final shotgun rebalancing now all the shotgun users want them nerfed
If you're one of the unintelligent and ignorant individuals who is crying for a sniper nerf either get better at crucible and find counters because there are many, Or alternatively stop playing the game.
The whole time since the game's release they have never been an issue among the community and now all of a sudden your shotguns are performing how intended you behave like children and request a sniper nerf?
Is this how everything is going to revolve around in the game, When a specific weapon is adjusted in game people will find a reason to complain about a nerf for something else even though that wasn't an issue prior to the adjustment.
Sniping in this game is not easy, Aim assist isn't what you think.
STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT AIM ASSIST AND RESEARCH IT FOR YOURSELVES.
It takes zero skill to brainlessly sprint/blink/crouch/slide upto someone point blank and pull the trigger or run around with your shotgun as your primary for the whole game as nearly every shotgunner I see in the game does.
Shotgunners push zero primary gunfight engagements unlike snipers who are forced to use their primaries to keep the kill streak alive.
Stop complaining because you have to work a little harder for those kills now.
Seeing these toxic threads on the forums every single time I come to check out some cool threads on the forums is so frustrating.

There's very little variety when most of the people you play are using it. It's boring. I'd like to see a buff to fusion rifles and sidearms so they can be genuine options again. Maybe even a minor buff to some of the primaries so people won't exclusively use their secondaries as well.

You're also very wrong about shotgun blinkers. That actually takes way more skill than hard scoping with a reticle that stays perfectly still. You have to memorize the blink distance and shotguns range to kill in one shot. It's also extremely risky because you have to close the gap. I respect your opinion but you're being short sighted my friend. Snipers are out of control because everything else has been nerfed. Plain and simple.

I dont find any problem with aim assist on snipers, anyone who says the bullets curve round walls simply do not understand latency and how bungie will most likely never get a fix on it... the big problem with snipers in my opinion is engaging with a primary hitting first and getting off 3 headshots with MIDA/scout or an auto whilst the sniper can quite happily fire and headshot... Some sort of flinch needs to be added... atleast that way when it happens i know its a rarity and fair play to the sniper

Snipers don't need to be nerfed other specials simply need to be retuned nerfing everything around it made snipers rise to the top which is why people complain about it now because other specials are just so weak.

Cos every match is full of people that can snipe from a few feet away while getting shot in the face! And saying 'adapt' is nonsense to! You adapt your game to counter someone else's play style, having to adapt because the weapon balance is bad is down to lazy bungie!

The only problem I have with snipers is the amount of times I get killed around corners by them. My partner for crimson was laughing so hard at where my orb was sometimes lol. Never had an issue with any other weapon, but for some reason I can be six feet behind cover and still get murdered by snipers hahaha

How bout people learn how to adapt. I used to be a shotgun user in crucible and I still slightly am. But now I use snipers a bit more and getting a headshot is definitely more satisfying than getting a shotgun body shot kill

What? Not everyone who wants snipers gone/looked at whatever are bad snipers or salty about the mild shotgun nerf. I personally think this is the most boring meta to date and I'm a great shot (81.4% headshot ratio over 5000+ snipes) it gets old camping in the same handful of spawns or head glitching the same choke points. It's redundant but if you're playing elimination solo for example everyone wants to rush forward and snipe as if there is no other way of playing. So robotic. Thorn+TLW meta was way more fun

It's because most weapons nowadays take a little too long to kill and don't cause enough flinch. I'm of the opinion of a descope feature for sniper rifles with the inclusion of a small reticle that provides no aim assist. But increasing flinch and reducing AA is a-okay for me. And yes, before you ask, OP, I know what aim assistance does in the case of snipers. They were fine in HoW because other weapons easily competed with them and killed fast enough so they weren't much of a problem.
