I love Halo.. used to love COD and have played Destiny MP a sh1t ton... but oddly (because it's unpopular opinion) i think Titanfall is the best multiplayer game out.
I know weapon wise there isn't that much variety, however it's is just so perfectly balanced, and it's just a fun game to play in general. the titans are epic and the wall running is perfection.
Really looking forward to Titanfall 2 and with it being on both consoles i hope it survives longer than it has.. because it really deserves some love from the FPS community.

2 OdpowiedziI agree but nobody plays it anymore

Edytowany przez użytkownika Sora Orth: 2/16/2016 6:32:12 PMI still like to take Titanfall as a test to see how it would turn out, there to cement ideas and concepts (such as wall running), if Titanfall two is what Titanfall one did, with just generally more content and some tweaks and refinements( such as making the AI soldiers competent), I would be in love.

Not the best, but its still pretty darn cool.
-
not THE best but it did set a precedent for movement and gameplay changes from titan to piolt and vice verse are still very fluid, very fun

1 OdpowiedźI love titanfall, but I hated the regen requirements. Literally my only gripe. Quit playing because I didnt feel like running around in a few games with a pistol when I spend most of my time in a Titan. Without those, I would have played till I was max G. Oh well, still got worth out of it

2 OdpowiedziI got bored pretty quickly because the titans lose their wow factor.

5 OdpowiedziThe reliance on BOTS was a fail for me with Titanfall. I expected so much more for a next-gen shooter.

6 OdpowiedziDisagree heavily, every weapon is underpowered or even completely useless in comparison to the carbine and smart pistol. Notice how I said underpowered. Titan combat is actually very well balanced, but it becomes very repetitive. It's actually just sped up tank combat from Battlefield. Other games, like Battlefield, provide much more diverse vehicle gameplay. If you didn't want to play CoD with mechs, you were forced to play Attrition or Marked for death. All the other game modes were trash. People left because they made a CoD game with parkour and mechs. In other words, they didn't exploit what was unique about their game -> making a parkour/mech game with CoD weapons. Notice, for example, how every weapon fills the usual CoD checklist of weapons. The fact that there are 4 precision weapons proves this. Why would anyone want precision weapons when dealing with mechs and high speed jet people? They wouldn't want them, but the devs had to fill out s checklist. The smart pistol was the only weapon in the game that actually followed the unique mechanics. It allowed players to zip around the map, picking up minion kills. Said minion kills boosted the Titan timer. I can only surmise that this is all simply nostalgia. I loved TF, hence why I'm gen 9, but we all have to face the fact that it was not successful as a game. The only reason we're even getting a sequel is that it was successful commercially due to the hype. Let's hope Respawn can salvage that.

3 OdpowiedziThe wall running feels so much better than BO3's.

I like Titanfall so much, I bought 2 copies of em.
-
I agree. But they need to fix titan melee knockback

Same developer that created cod and specifically cod4 and mw2. They innovated an entire genre of online shooter.

While I wouldn't say it's perfect it is pretty close. While others seemed to dislike the lack of variety weapon wise I liked it its much easier to balance guns when there's only a dozen or so in the game. I mean look at BF4 adult. Game to be sure with 100+ weapons half of which only differ in look and by one or to stats (in the same category) is prefer Respawn to bump the number of guns per category (shotty, sniper,AR et etc) by 2 at most and then just focus on balance. It leaves more time for the Devs to put love where it's needed rather then on guns that 90% of the time players end up just using the same one. I'd like them to focus more on aesthetic customisations weapon skins, paint jobs, pilot appearance, mech colours and insignias (though TF1 has a decent number already.)

Anyone ever play Shadowrun on 360? Most fun I've ever had in a shooter... I was Bat Gnome. Gliding and teleporting across the battlefield with a sword that was taller than me. Good times!
-
Yeah. I bought it recently on sale. COMPLETE SCORE!!!

Quality> quantity

18 OdpowiedziTitanfall failed because it wanted to be clone of fast paced FPS like CoD and halo. And failed to attract them long enough. Not having much campaign didn't help either.
-
4 OdpowiedziNope. Not enough skill involved.
-
I can't wait for titanfall 2. The original was kinda crappy but I think the 2nd one will be great.
-
5 OdpowiedziI liked Titanfall too. But it's pretty much the poster child for the dangers of overhyping a game.
-
Nice b8
-
It's fun for a it two games then I have to stop playing... Such low replayability

-
My biggest problem with the game was just that there wasn't enough variety.
