Don't tell me I cant play Destiny!!
So here it is...
In the last week I've been told to GTFO and [b]not[/b] play Destiny!. Apparently I'm not the type of player Destiny needs!.
You see, I admitted I was a casual. That I played for fun. That I wasn't very good but just ran a few strikes, a few bounties, let off some steam and then went back to other things in my life.
Then I was told that, because I have coordination and reflex issues after two strokes, and that means I find getting jumping right very difficult, that [b]I can't play Destiny and I was just sad [/b] so I should find another game to play!
So, let's get this straight. A game with a decreasing player base has elitist try hard morons actually trying to order people [b]off[/b] the game!
Way to go!
There are some great players and people in Destiny. But I don't go around telling people they can't do the raid or can't go to the lighthouse because they are too good. I don't ask them to carry me or demand they do everything for me in a raid so I can say I've done it.
So what gives you the right to tell me I can't play a game I've paid for ?.
Get over yourselves. It's a game. We all play it how we want and when we want. We get out of it what we put in. How I play doesn't hurt you (rarely play PvP in case someone wants to whine about me [b]hurting the team[/b] and these days I'm very rarely the worst player (odd that)!
Perhaps if you worried less about how others play you'd actually enjoy it more instead of going around ordering people about.
I like Destiny. I'd like to continue my journey with the game and franchise but driving people away really doesn't help my, or I suspect your, prospects of that happening!

2 OdpowiedziIf you are this young, and still able to play this game anyway after two strokes, people should have a little bit more respect for you. Sadly nowadays the younger people don't care about givong respect, as long as people respect them. It's all about taking in stead of giving, and these people don't understand that respect is earned and not given! I'm 35, and even I see the younger generation getting more and more respectless towards other people, but they are even more shortsighted to think that everybody has to respect them because of how good they think they are by stats. They are so ignorant that they don't see that respect is not earned by stats, but how they treat other people. And sadly these ignorant crybabies are 75% of the toxic people on this forum. Behind their keyboard and controller they think they're badass, until someone doesn't accept it and stands in front of them. Then they instantly shit their pants. I always say: treat people the way you want to be treated by them. So mate, keep on playing! And enjoy every second of it! I would raid with you anytime (if the timezones aren't too much apart ;) ) Greetings from Holland!

3 OdpowiedziI don't fireteam or raid anymore since TTK, just play crucible but if I was still doing team stuff I would have been proud to team up with you. It's your choice how you play this game and the fact that you are still playing after your illness and recovery probably sets you way above some of the idiots who criticise you. The majority of destiny players are generally pretty cool, but there are elitists and knobs out there who just derive pleasure from putting you down. Just ignore the prats and enjoy yourself.

lol, it's always going to happen. there are those who believe that if they have high kds are the boss of the game, i laugh. i enjoy the playing of the game a million times more then these elitists. They worry about whose first, whose best, who has the highest watszits, lol, i don't worry what others players think, i don't care about kd...i'm just in in for the fun. it's the same on BOPs 2 and other games. my daughter and i were playing crimson doubles (daughter/mom team) i'm 52 and we won...well that ticked off the other team and for the first time in playing destiny we got hate mail. [b]hang in there and as long as you still enjoy playing the game rock on[/b].
