Destiny Maintenance 2-4-16 at 8:00am PST
Starting at 8:00 AM Pacific (4:00 PM UTC), players will not be able to log into Destiny in preparation for maintenance.
At 9:00 AM Pacific (5:00 PM UTC), players will be removed from activities as Destiny servers will be taken offline for maintenance.
Maintenance is expected to conclude before 2:00 PM Pacific (10:00 PM UTC).

2 Odpowiedziwhy take servers offline to roll out a patch or update you can take out a drive update that drive put it back in then run the update it then updates the other servers no need to take down the whole network admins have been doing this for years

Spent 4 hours on the totems last night. Glitchy as -blam!-, so loaded the Warpriest checkpoint and then spent another 2 hours being glitched about again. Never mind Oryx There's only one relevant raid now, so please sort it out Kind regards Richard

Cosmo & DeeJ I thought your job was to be a liaison between Bungie and the Guardians. One of the most efficient and effective ways is through this forum, and the fact that this outdated thread is still present at the very top of the most frequented category on the boards is a telltale sign that it is being neglected and unnoticed by both of you. I'm not even asking for a response, but cut dead weight and delete this thread. It is ancient by today's standards. Just speaking as a fan that cares.

7 OdpowiedziBungie needs to stop with this bullshit saying they made the pvp servers better. I'm a trials player and every game that we start winning 3-0 out friend gets kicked out of the game when we are all green bar then the enemy team goes to yellow and red the rest of the game and it gives them a huge advantage. One guy even admitted to attacking my friends internet and since bungie obviously does not care they will not ban the people who cheat just to get a win for trials. If we have good internet we should not get punished. Supposedly bungie said they installed a "connection referee" to kick or take away the advantage of red bars. But it feels like the enemy team still goes under bungie's radar and continues to cheat while bungie punishes people that has good internet. WAY TO -blam!-EN GO BUNGIE

2 OdpowiedziCozmo, Just a question. Why does Bungie not have redundant servers? One-off servers where maintenance is deployed, tested, patched, re-tested, and then once they have passed quality control can be switched with the current live servers? IP configuration files for both the server and security servers could easily be switched; and gaming could continue with little to no interruption of service. I am sure there are plenty of certified server admins who work in production environments who you could hire to efficiently and effectively implement this architecture. I am positive there are several thousands in this community that would be great assets to Bungie. Just a thought! Good luck.
