Valentines "Crimson Doubles" is going to be the biggest flop in Destiny's history.
Terrible idea, inappropriate subject matter and even worse locked by the lack of matchmaking for most players.
My friends and I were discussing this and none of us even want to play it. What do you think, will you play, do you care?
I see a major flop in the making.
edit: seems like the only people who are gonna play are those hoping for a 320 ghost. I hope you guys know that Bungie said it can drop UP TO 320. It will be the same shit as the last couple of Iron banners. Good luck with the grind.

Lack of matchmaking killed it for me. . Also made me skip this IB as I was gonna play for the PS cloak to wear in this event. Bungie really need to stop being so -blam!-ing precious about matchmaking especially if they can't be arsed to put lfg in game.

1 OdpowiedźAt this moment in Destiny's timeline? This event is laughable. For a game just begging on its knees like a cheap prostitute for PVE content, they add more PVP stuff. I really only play this game for PVP now btw, primarily because the raid and its rewards are garbage, and there are just so many chances to use the things that are already in the game like POE and VOG, just update them to drop 320 gear. I really don't think it would be all that difficult. No new creative content, just a couple man hours with some code and Bam! Instant replayability. This event might be fun for all of fifteen minutes(quite like SRL) but then we will get bored. But thanks for the new emotes you cash grabbing money sloots.

I actually think it is a good idea because I usually outlive my allies and the idea of going berserk with an ambush Hunter build is entertaining.

I like the chocolate ghost and the the shader looks, but the game mode is going to be disappointing. Basically just ToO minus 1 with a buff that's probably not even tuned correctly - it'll either be overpowered enough to cause one person to die early on, or useless. And since level advantages are off, based on the state of Rumble/any 3v3, nothing but a Thorn fest.

I've played doubles before and it was pretty fun. Add in exclusive rewards makes it even better. I think people are jumping the gun. Ffs it hasnt even released yet.

I've gotten a 320 ghost so I don't really see the point of it. If the connections are good it might be fun but if it's like regular crucible or ToO I won't be into it
