Bungie, the creators of Destiny want us to use an app that they didn't even develop, just to to make their game playable???
Great idea! But lets take that a step further.
How about we just find a game that you didn't develop, that is already playable, that way we don't have to use an app...
Or, if LFG is so great, how about we have Deej spend the entire week playing Iron Banner using an anonymous gamertag with only a team of complete randoms from LFG. Record all of it, and put the entire thing up on youtube completely unedited, including the game chat.

This was exactly my thinking. He keeps talking about how he used to be one of us, yet now he can hand pick the most elite destiny players for iron banner. So obviously he doesn't care what game mode it is. I play with my clan, but I still hate rift and understand why people are so upset with this. If you're with a bunch of randoms against a clan you're likely gonna lose. You can't communicate. All you have to do is lock down the area the spark spawns, which is a lot easier when you can communicate with a team. I would love to see Deej playing with a bunch of randoms. He was supposed to be the voice of the people, but is nothing but a sell out

The problem is the mindset. All they are trying to do is cater to a small "elite" bunch of gamers and trashing the average destiny player... Well good luck finding your game with that small percentage.

3 OdpowiedziYou should never have to put down your controller to find teammates. Sorry but that needs to be in the game. I put down my controller and I might not pick it back up again. Pretty sure that's one way can you lose players.

1 OdpowiedźToo much LFG, I don't want to have to add 300 people a year to play this game

2 Odpowiedzi"Why won't deej put his money where his mouth is and lfg himself?" Heh. I'd LOVE to watch that video.

Destiny is over people. Move on. As for dumb ass Deej. Who gives a shit what he wants.

This game needs in game lfg at the very least. I think that would help a lot.

5 OdpowiedziI use LFG very often and it is pretty effective however OP is right, it is not found in game nor developed by bungie. For a filthy casual try-hard like myself with no following on Twitter, no YouTube/twitch subs it is incredibly time consuming and laboring to join a clan or find a full fire team at the drop of a hat, even tougher to find one where you actually enjoy playing everyone - I'm not knocking clans I just don't have the patients and time (pun intended) to find one. I think the most of Deej and was happy to see his note regarding IB rift however it made me realize how much we need an in-game LFG. Since it's not already built into the game I'm sure adding one now would be a nightmare to code and impractical from a financial stand point. That being said it would be great to see something that mirrored Destinylfg.com added in later installments.

I only use it for nightfalls and some PoE (in the past). You need a clan to enjoy Destinys best parts. It should be mentioned in the ads: 2..5 people needed!

10 OdpowiedziDestiny is like watching a cow take a dump. Right when you think it's done, it just keeps spewing shet.

1 OdpowiedźI want all of Bungie to volunteer to take a long walk off a short pier wearing cement boots.

Using lfg really isn't that bad I actually like it ............. SAID NO ONE EVER !!!!!

Yeah. LFG the home of the friendly and patient. Really Deej?

The Division.

Deej is a spinster. I highly doubt he makes any design decisions. Cut him some slack. He's just doing the job he's paid to do.

Don't forget that, if just one of the people you team up with is either intentionally lagging or has inadequate internet, you'll get a ban along with them because you're obviously at fault for their internet/cheating issues. Of course this is also based on assuming that Bungie is actually tracking all the latency and that would be a feat all on its own. I guess they probably have time tho since they're obviously not spending much time fixing the problems with the game itself.

Edytowany przez użytkownika corujariousa: 1/29/2016 7:56:45 PMEven if you follow the suggestion (holding myself from calling it ridiculous) the RIFT points system does not help at all since it greatly favors the Spark holder/runner. The chances of finding a good group of total strangers who will play nicely as a team is close to ZERO under the circumnstances. The genius who had the idea to use RIFT for Iron Banner should be sent to clean restrooms for at least 6 months. The bigger genius who approved should go as well but be dedicated to military latrines.

Judging by his medal score and how many toons he's created across two consoles.... Gonna say he's probably busy doing something other than playing destiny. You know, setting the example for the community, by not playing the game. The game that was created by bungie, who hired him to promote the game and the community. Call me crazy, but it would seem that he would be the "link" between bungie and the community, by also playing WITH the community. It's sadly opposite of that. He plays with employees and youtubers. Not really sure that's really helping. Perhaps playing with randoms regularly, as he suggested, would invoke a deeper sense of sincere dedication to said community.

Man, put Deej in there with his Bungie name and I bet no one plays with him regardless. We all saw him play during live streams, no one wants him on their team.

I love how he keeps bringing up his clan running days. I think the entirety of the lone wolf community should apply to his / cozmo's clan. They should set an example as community managers and accept everyone in there and make sure there are regular NF and raid runs set up. Or, you know... If he's incapable of properly gauging and escalating the issue internally to satisfy the wants and needs of the lone wolves that represent a good chunk of the player base, he could at the very least stop preaching in a condescending manner. I have an awesome clan. Having matchmaking options would not make me leave it. But I really don't see the harm in giving players more options. Especially for stuff like PoE or nightfall... Get off your elitist high horses and swallow your pride... That content is a joke and was even when it was relevant... You do not need to know a persons' underwear colour to successfully complete that... The problem is that bungie seems to struggle quite a bit when it comes to finding a proper balance between skill and connection based matchmaking. Beyond all the bull, the sad reality could be that they have no clue how to automatically match up people who routinely match each other up using LFG sites

You don't need lfg for anything join a clan or just be useful people will add you.
