Shoulder charge is capable of 1-shotting anything from any direction by simply running into it. Hunters should get a melee capable of doing that and so should Warlocks.
Titans shouldn't be the only class to be able to 1-shot with a melee attack just because of their sheer strength. Hunters use their knives to attack, which is their specialty, and Warlocks use their magic, which is their specialty. The Titans can punch hard, but Warlocks can magic hard and Hunters can stab hard. No class should be left behind when it comes to something as ****-ing basic as a melee attack.
My proposed solution
For Hunters, it should be blink strike. There's an upgrade to bladedancer where the strike deals bonus damage when you attack from behind (Yes, Hunters get the OTHER 1-shot melee, but the fact that hitting enemies from behind is mandatory limits its usefulness.), that upgrade should be changed so that blink strike gains a damage buff in general that's capable of 1-shotting opponents.
As for melee attacking from behind, that should be given bonus damage anyway, no matter the class or subclass.
Warlocks' thunderstrike should also be capable of 1-shotting. Arc just seems like the way to go with this, since it appears to be the most volatile of the elements. The Warlocks should be able to kill a dude by zapping them with lightning, just like with their super.
Titans have always been OP, and their abilities have always required the least skill (run and press RB/R1 to instantly kill someone, press RT to instantly murder everyone around you, press RT to give yourself a 5m wide shield that can only be broken by another super, forcing enemies to come within melee/shotgun distance), and I'm sick of feeling as though Hunters and Warlocks are being left in the dust at every turn.

A max armor striker can survive nd warlock with ram. Whats really op is shotgun shoulder charge. How to do it is simply, slide, shotgun, shoulder charge.
-
Titans have t-Rex melee. I'm ok with shoulder charge. Locks have their long melee and hunters have throwing knifes. It's pretty equal
-
He just said Titans are OP. I have officially lost faith in the Destiny community.

Didn't you just make a post about FoH as well? Holy hell you're whiny. Shoulder charge isn't overpowered in any sense of the word. A. if you are in mid air and the enemy is on the ground, it won't hit 70% of the time, leaving you vulnerable and pretty much screwed. B. Shotguns one shot shoulder charge every time seeing as how it doesn't actually have any armor buffs. C. It requires you to get at point blank range, leaving you vulnerable, especially in ToO You can't compare shoulder charge to hunter stab and warlock melee because shoulder charge isn't a melee its an ability on the subclass, just like shadestep You either have shoulder charge, leaving you FoH very easy to kill, you have unstoppable, leaving you kind of useless against the other two classes' superior melees, or you have the sprinting shield thing that no one uses. Subclass itself is rather balanced and emphasizes the strikers power at close range

What are you going to complain about next? Fist of Havoc?
Oh wait, you already did
-
Backstab doesn't always require an actual backstab. I main a hunter and many times have I stabbed a guy in the face and dealt 367 damage, one shotting him. Sunsingers have a one shot whilst they are in radiance, which also gives them a shield, which they can also do whilst coming back from the dead. The classes are balanced, please don't complain about shoulder charge because your getting killed a lot by people with the Stand Asides.
-
Warlock melee... There ya go.
-
My only complaint about the melee is how can a fist one hit me but I have to stab someone twice for them to die? Knife vs fist....I just feel that a knife...should do more damage than a fist...

3 OdpowiedziMade a post about fist of havoc being op, now shoulder charge. Why do you hate Titans?

Stfu crybaby

I get one slot melee'd by sun singers all the time.
-
Sorry but it's the only class for a titan to have any fun in the crucible. Just as I believe voidwallker and bladedancer are the best suited for crucible.
I never used flame titan because striker for life
-
You sound like a Blade Dancer. Would you like a waaaaaaaamburger to go with those French cries?
-
TITANS CAN'T BLINK... Balanced
-
You brought this upon yourselves with the sun breaker nerf
-
Shoulder charge isn't easy to use. It's much harder than simply meleeing from a certain angle. Don't stand near corners

1 OdpowiedźWhen you golden gun a fisting titan point blank and you die
-
God no, what's wrong with you?!
-
2 OdpowiedziDisagree. I've got way too many clips of captured footage of shoulder charge failing dead on, the target living with a smudge of life (ram or not), and won't end a player in super too many times. Just within the last two days I've recorded 8 moments it didn't kill multiple classes. No disrespect, I've seen it not insta kill.
-
Warlocks have insanely ranged melee attacks, hunters have blink strike,. Just let the titans have SOME form of good melee
-
Yeah no thanks. Max armor builds survive shoulder charge btw. And also, blink + blink strike is almost always counted as from behind. Hunter scrubs am have been using this forever. But yeah. Bad ideas. Titan has a small window for shoulder charge, easy to counter
-
Muted for full retard
-
Remove blink, its deadlier than shoulder charge.
