Best shotgun
I usually just run a sniper all the time in any crucible game type, but I have had the desire to try shotguns. What year 2 legendary shotgun is the best? What perks should I watch for?

I've heard Party Crasher, however Conspiracy Theory-D is a good choice too if you take the one from the quest. I'm a sniper myself.

If you can get the quest finished and get good with it, the chaperone is very, very good. Still learning with it myself tbh. If not, go for Conspiracy Theory - like the others have said, you get one with very good perks from a quest reward.

Patch-A vendor from dead orbit has fantastic perks, the trials one has good range and I can always out snipe a conspiracy theory with it, and lastly the gunsmith and hold on to packages till they have good rolls on them have two shotguns waiting for God rolls

Conspiracy Theory D is one of the more popular, especially since the Vanguard quest will award you with one that has a pretty BA roll on it. Party Crasher +1 was also brought forward to Y2. You just have to luck into a good roll on it. There are a few others, but the above two are your best bet.

By far the Party Crasher +1 This is the best year 2 shotgun. Only problem is it is really hard to get and just depends on rng.

I haven't gotten many shotguns in ttk so I may not have the best in the game but I am using the conspiracy d with rangefinder and I do okay.
