Destiny is the best game I have ever played

I got Destiny blind not having a clue what it was. I think that made it for me. No preconceived notions. It was awesome and still is.

1 OdpowiedźIt was certainly the best game up until the taken king. Vog is probably one of my favorite gaming experiences. Crota was fun as well. But Activision and bungie just -blam!-ed us over by lack of story, time gated things, nerfs/un-nerfs. Bungie basically broke their own game.

Its the shooting that is better than any other game, there is weight and substance to shooting the guns in destiny, could you imagine fallout 4 or battlefront with the destiny gunplay

Glad you like it so much! I had fun playing it (and I played it A LOT). I think the best game I've ever played was probably The Last of Us. It was a masterpiece.

11 Odpowiedzi-First Person Shooting Mechanics (PvE specifically) - for me hands down the best game I have ever played. -Creativity for FPS mechanics - for vanilla Destiny, raids, even PoE and ToO/IB (SRL kind of) is top 3 if not best game I have ever played. -Story - one of the worst games i have ever played. I felt more invested in Frogger getting across the road or Tetris than I do Destiny. -Lore - amazing.......but none of it is in game. So the Halo series (terminals on MCC) wins for sure on that. -Ability to replay - year 1 hands down had me playing too much but now in year 2 I couldn't begin to tell you why. Which means it was all based on addiction or gambling not being a good game. All in all, Destiny reigned supreme because it had no real competition. Now that TTK has cut Destiny's content by 2/3s and there are actually some awesome games out or coming out, Destiny 2 will have to get rid of gimmicks and addiction and actually have to be a good game if they expect people to play it like they did year 1.

Mechanics wise, yes destiny is awesome. Content is lacking once you get to end game and story is extremely messy and too vague to properly immerse yourself in the lore. Pvp lag is an issue. Constant rebalance is an issue. Don't get me wrong, I think Destiny is a great game, but I could have been much better.
