Serious question..?? Who still really enjoys Destiny?
I do. Truth is, this the first FPS game I've really played. I played one of the Halo games once at a friend's house, and really enjoyed it. I'm just not a fan of the Xbox consoles, no offense. Yeah, I could try CoD, but I'm just more into futuristic gunplay (Star Wars nerd alert). Which brings Battlefront to mind. And yeah, I play that, but it just doesn't feel like the old Battlefronts on ps2. There is quite a bit wrong with Destiny, I'm not denying it. But those of us who truly love the game for any reason need to come together, not divide. I did not post this in an attempt for attention. Nor am I a "fanboy" begging those on the edge to see the "Light" again. To be completely honest, I want to be a writer, but don't know what kind of writing I want to pursue, so I was just testing this out.
I hope any and all who reads this was at least slightly enlightened.
I like that it's been mostly mature statements either way, good job all :)

For me, not anymore. 1. Repeating content is starting to get dull. 2. All of my friends have left Destiny. 3. This community makes me hate every moment of ever being a part of it. I left mostly because of the toxic community, didn't want to be around when they run it to the ground.

Nope. I have nothing left to do but grind for a 320 ghost. If new content is ever released, 320 won't be relevant for long.

Quitted a week ago, not worth the 1500+ hours i spent playing. Everything in the life is with colors now lol.

1 OdpowiedźI adore this game. Received hawkmoon and last word today. Grinding is the whole point of this game, and just when you think you're not going to get anything.. Pooof, here, take this awesome weapon and gear, and get back to grinding. The only problem I have is the amount of people that demand everyone be flawless or have a crazy k/d ratio. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy that too, but you honestly can't expect everyone to be good, of become good at this game with out help.

(Able to get to 305 without oryx raid. Just IB, SRL) Meeting randoms in the court of oryx is and working together is really fun to me. I still love exploring Venus just for the hell of it. Still wanna up my grimoire (4135) so ghost hunting is fun. Is there plenty people don't like about destiny? Yeaaaah, that's the worst kept secret on the Internet lol. But bungie has said a billion times this game is always evolving. Does it seem like some of their decision's are a straight step backwards? Sure. But not enough to keep me from logging in every day, even if it's to do just one thing for the day. And all my effort has been in just one character (warlock). The titan I made is for my 8yr old daughter. The hunter is mainly just "extra vault space" I started this game with the complete full intention of being a collector with all the cool weapons and gear. That died almost instantly......but I've grudgingly moved on and managed to find plenty to entertain myself with. Lol I'm here till its done. :)

3 OdpowiedziThis game has struck my last nerve. The lag is unbearable. Why should I suffer when I pay good money for good internet? Might as well have -blam!-ing dial-up. Sorry felt like venting.

The game is getting more and more boring. Running orix (worst raid ever) again and again or getting lagged out by twich cheaters in the last trials round. All my favourite weapons have been nerfed.. So its time to nerf mida and hard light or even the whole game!

Still play it almost daily, enjoy it for the most part. Honestly I had more fun before TTK dropped, house of wolves era was the peek. (Been playing since the week TDB dropped)

5 OdpowiedziTry detonating your 16 bombs on Oryx Challenge only to have him still have a quarter health left. Then you retry and retry only to have the portals disappear on their own, or the relic runner tries to grab relic but it won't give it to him on the detonation round or the Ogres and Knights glitch, or you have a "misadventure" jumping down two feet. Then tell me if you still love this game....

Day 1 player here and it has lost alot of appeal to me. I still jump on and do the challenges and help my friends, but ive grown much more fond of BLOPS3 especially zombies. Just picked up Siege so im interested to see how that plays. But my old routine of NFs, full raids, trials, strikes etc... nah im good. It just got dull and lackluster to me.

3 OdpowiedziIt's only fun when you play with friends. I can play hours with friends but I can't play more than 30 minutes alone.

I don't get to play enough to get burned out on it. So I'm always trying to catch up to play end game. It's good for what it is, a time waster. The truth is I had no inebriated of buying it. Looked to Sci fi for me. My wife came with it one day because the guy at game stop said it was like borderlands. Which we play together. [spoiler]yes I see the irony in thinking is to Sci fi while enjoying borderlands[/spoiler]

Being that I don't get a crazy amount of time to game between work, girlfriend, and all good stuff....I love it. Also took a 6 month break after HoW so I'm sure that helped.

I love the lore and the community. The game itself has lost almost every scrap of appeal it once had.
