Mida is more popular and more annoying than Thorn ever was
Before you read this: [i]YES[/i], I AM A YEAR ONE PLAYER.
I've never seen full teams of randoms with thorn as consistently as I see the same with Mida. Mida killing me isn't what's annoying, it's just the fact that everyone uses it and it forces everyone in the crucible to conform to one playstyle. There is absolutely zero diversity in the crucible. Don't go spouting off a ten paragraph essay about how Mida is balanced, because I agree. We just need autos to be actually buffed, pulses to be nerfed properly (how they were going to be nerfed before bungie lied to us), and handcannons and scouts to stay the same.
Edit: Damn, so much hate. Never intended to make anybody angry, but if you are, you probably only read the title and in a blind rage, posted your wittiest insult and left. Comment "Latias" if you read the whole thing so I can decide whether or not to ignore you.
Edit: The wording is bad for the part about pulses, I want them buffed up to the original state before bungie nerfed them, and bring them down to what bungie [i]said[/i] they were going to do before they lied

3 OdpowiedziI have not yet played against a full team of mida. I agree it is the new weapon to go with but find weapons more balanced than before. From my point of view, my biggest problem is with handcannon. When I challenge a guardian it happen that some body shot does not register and I end up dead because of that.

Does it really matter what you are getting shot by? If you want to use auto rifles or whatever, use them. Be the change you want to see

Not a chance, mida is a great weapon but there are many other weapons that can still out gun it so it's not op. The thorn was op and annoying at the same damn time. Getting two shotted then running away knowing you were going to die anyway.

Well.. as of right now the current meta is Mida, and Last Word. Scouts, High RoF Autos, 1 type of Pulse Rifle, and I guess Handcannons(last word and first curse) are somewhat better now. From my experience with the most recent IB, I faced a large majority of players using Mida and Last Word. I decided to use the Mida and quickly found out it destroys players are sniping, and made me question why I had a sniper equipped alongside my Mida. The Mida basically beat every Primary gun except in close range to either last word,Fast Autos, or red death.

There is a big difference between Mida and Thorn. Mida may be annoying to some because it is heavily used in some Crucible matches. However, not only was Thorn heavily used it was way over-powered. Mida is not over-powered. I have no issues whatsoever with Mida in its' current state.

Agree thorn was earned and matches were even because 75% of pvp players used it.

It's was annoying as all hell the first 3-4 days of IB, but to me its use seem to tail off towards the end of the last Banner. What's really annoying is that I would normally use it, it's been a go to gun forever, but this time around I didn't use it for a single match. I went with my vendor Last Extremity.

Latias. I didn't see that many Mida in the recent IB. I think I was killed by a Mida twice the entire time.

Looking at your characters I'd guess you didnt play too much even in year 1. That said, thorn was everywhere during that meta, the only reason a whole team wasn't using it was because you had red death and TLW competing. I miss that meta.

8 OdpowiedziI dunno, I always use Ace of Spades and more recently my New Monarchy auto rifle and rarely see MIDA except where the sweaty pvpers go. Which generally compensates for their suckage.
