Mida is more popular and more annoying than Thorn ever was
Before you read this: [i]YES[/i], I AM A YEAR ONE PLAYER.
I've never seen full teams of randoms with thorn as consistently as I see the same with Mida. Mida killing me isn't what's annoying, it's just the fact that everyone uses it and it forces everyone in the crucible to conform to one playstyle. There is absolutely zero diversity in the crucible. Don't go spouting off a ten paragraph essay about how Mida is balanced, because I agree. We just need autos to be actually buffed, pulses to be nerfed properly (how they were going to be nerfed before bungie lied to us), and handcannons and scouts to stay the same.
Edit: Damn, so much hate. Never intended to make anybody angry, but if you are, you probably only read the title and in a blind rage, posted your wittiest insult and left. Comment "Latias" if you read the whole thing so I can decide whether or not to ignore you.
Edit: The wording is bad for the part about pulses, I want them buffed up to the original state before bungie nerfed them, and bring them down to what bungie [i]said[/i] they were going to do before they lied

I saw groups of thorn and/or tlw in year one for IB. If didn't see a whole team of mida this past IB but I only got one character to rank 5.

1 OdpowiedźIt isn't worse than thorn. With thorn, even if you got away, you would slowly die helplessly as your screen is covered in green and your controller vibrates like crazy just to remind you of all the other times you died that way. I think I'd rather stick with being killed by MIDA.

2 OdpowiedziIf the mida is not op then why is it being used by 80% of players in every crucible game? To you players that have no problem out gunning a mida, you beat them because you're better than that player. Simple as that. If you were up against a player your skill level or higher than you wouldn't be beating the mida as much as you think.

Same with 1000 yard stare. In fact they've noticed other guns have a much much higher KD than normal but nobody has noticed yet because of the Mida Tool/1000 yard hype.

Get a MIDA user at optimal range for the weapon you have equipped and you will kill them just fine. Probably the reason you get killed so much by "teams fill of MIDAs" is because they are full pre-made teams and they run together. Even two guys running together can be very powerful in Crucible. Thorn was insanely bad. And it went on for almost a full year. It's good but not death on crack. Get a pulse rifle or an auto rifle.

They stated that the only possible problem they can see with it is that it's overused, thus making crucible stale. Listen to crucible radio. A lot of good information.

MIDA will never be as annoying as thorn, there were several times a ran into fire teams that were all using thorns
