IB rank 5 rewards are shit
So two characters now that i hit rank 5 and the rep reward is a -blam!-ing 310 ghost shell.
WHAT THE -blam!- IS THE POINT OF DOING THIS SHIT THEN??
Its not like anything worth a damn drops on the way to rank 5. I got one damn item the entire time on my titan and was the shittiest roll you could get for the AR.
Let me guess people enjoyed IB too much last time so you needed to taper back the rewards? God for -blam!-ing bid you give us a little more than the absolute minimum. Keep us trucking and playing, right?
I am a huge fan and play a ton but serious?
Give us something worth our time in the lag redbar game half over losing matches -blam!-ing IB fir -blam!-s sake.
Edit: didnt realize some are required to go to orbit to collect. Just went to orbit and got 311 chest (which have 3 already). Opinion still stands they nerfed the -blam!-ing loot this time around compared to last one.
Edit2: needed to totally switch characters to get loot from orbit. Ended with 311, 312, 314 armor pieces (if remember light levels right). Utter shit when i have full ib gear on all characters already. Weapons still dont drop worth a shit.
Edit3: im surprised no one has mentioned there is THREE levels of rng on the IB gear.
1st) it needs to drop
2nd) light level worth a shit
3rd) did you get any perks worth a shit
Funny how most frustrations come from the high amounts of rng on small amount of items (cough* Oryx hm)

I got the handcannon, sidearm, and machine gun. I am pleased with all three rewards and enjoyed the ride to get there.

I did also get a 304 Hunter cloak from a match end reward. It doesn't do anything for me though since my cloak is 306. I didn't pull anything else throughout IB.

Rewards have been bad for me this time around. Last iron banner I got everything they were selling plus a few weapons but this time around I wasn't so lucky. Oh well life goes on...

Wish the game would stop giving me hatchets with Icarus, the perk is useless and should be removed completely

Did that to me where it only showed I got 320 ghost shells on all 3 characters and when I signed in again I had 320 Hunter boots 317 warlock chest and some 318 Titan arms the boots put my Hunter to 320 light :) just try change characters then look through your stuff can almost guarantee u missed it or in the postmaster

Bro I got for the last two iron banner rank 5 packages 310 ghost x2 313 boots 310 gloves Trust me, iron banner has not been a pleasant experience

Yeah I was pissed until I logged back in and gear popped up for me. I'm glad I got 311 pieces, even though they replaced 310 gear....

I a filthy 318 nirwens with red dot OES, counter balance, braced frame, and army of one. Im pretty satisfied lol.

Highest light item I got...and all 3 are level 5, was a 313 Pulse rifle........

On my 3rd character I only got a ghost from the package rank 5

3 OdpowiedziJust the other day i played on my hunter for the first time in a crucible match and on the third match i got a 319 ghost where for my titan who is rank five i got another 310 ghost. Makes no sense.

4 OdpowiedziLol try playing ib back in vanilla and dark below Would take twice the time to get to rank 5 and you would get a quarter of the loot, and the bounties were actually challenging not get 20 kills or 13 kills with primary lol to easy and to much loot

For rank 5 packages I got: 3 x 310 ghosts 1 x 315 boots 1 x 316 nirwens mercy 1 x 319 colovances duty. I played ALOT. Still go to grind today for more drops.

Just remember.... we used to not get anything for hitting rank 5, you just had to buy whatever was available and be happy with whatever you got to drop while playing. I only did ib to get the helmets, and i got them all before hitting rank 3 with any character.
