So in around 4 years my beautiful neighbor will be going to college, my little brother will be finishing up highschool, and most of my grade will be moving to do something important for our country. I'm going to be joining the military to protect them. To protect everyone. I've been told "Its nothing like the games" and I know that. I know how much power a gun has. I know that men like my grandpa come back home with memories that scar them. Our citizens deserve defense and I am one of the people put on this earth to defend them. I was born to do that
I'm not a super smart person like Melanie or my brother.
I was simply born to defend my country.
Honestly I find myself in the dating career as a lost cause. I'm an ugly twig. I don't know who could like me. I've basically determined that I'm either dying for my country or possibly dying alone. I have a dream not many others have. That's to see others happy, to see other protected, and to have an actual family. Not something very common now. I'm one of those guys who wants to join the military and be able to have a great marriage and kids, and somehow that's weird. I'm just a hopeless shit
I'm here to defend people
I'm here to fight for America
And after that I'm here to enforce the law
I hope my service that will start in about 4 years is meaningful
You guys have a good life
This is Ethan Randal Boe, signing off

2 OdpowiedziLmao the military doesn't protect anyone but the military - industrial complex. Also, it is highly unlikely that anyone in the military be happily married, the divorce rate is around 80% last I checked. How about you protect the world from your idiocy and shut your mouth.

Clucking bell.............

Edytowany przez użytkownika PathPing: 1/3/2016 3:34:33 PMYou just admitted you're not a smart person and thats the main reason you shouldn't join. Im not trying to insult you but id rather have a person with a head on their shoulders when shit goes down. I dont want to serve next to someone who cant make a quick decision. My life is as valuable as yours. Plus you talk down to yourself constantly and that leads to depression.

1 OdpowiedźIn four years I'm going to be a butterbar, and I'm not dumb enough to not come in with some motto mindset.

Don't sign your life away to the government, this would've been, "noble" 40-50 years ago. The government now uses our soldiers as an occupation force to control resources rather than engage in trade. They treat the soldiers like test subjects and property to be disposed of. You have no rights, you have no freedom, you are the slave of the state until your tour is done. Even after your contract is up they can stop block you and keep you for however long they like, you can do something more than that.

2 OdpowiedziYou talk about defending our country. But what you will be doing is attacking others.

4 OdpowiedziOur country doesn't deserve people like you. Don't do it for them. Do it for yourself and the experience. Thats what I'm probably going to wind up doing in a year or so.

13 OdpowiedziThis is what the government wants you to think. Take the Civil War enrollment propaganda, for example. Both sides, Union and Confederate, made becoming a soldier seem like a special honor with war glory and the chance to protect your family and homeland. It was nothing like that. Most soldiers in the war were miserable, and many kept accounts on how dull, repetitive, and grueling war-life was. When soldiers actually went into battle, the only emotions they felt were agony and devastation at the excruciating pain of war injury and the loss of close friends and family; most battles seemed like they headed nowhere, and most battles had little to no effect on advancement or overall loss, not to mention felt in vein as well. If you do enroll in the army, this is what you're signing up for. My uncle enrolled in the military for eight years, and he always tells me how much it devastated his life.

How will it feel taking orders from your Commander in Chief, President Trump? God that would be such an honor. Not just a soldier, but a Christian soldier putting his life on the line against the Muslim offensive. God speed young soldier.
