I can't say this enough, bring back elemental primaries.
Whatever Luke Smith was smoking, he made a stupid decision to not allow us to use elemental primaries.
Do you want us to get aggrivate and have to use two or three clips to take down one wizard. Sorry but I'd rather use a void primary that would take less time to take it down then using a kinetic damage weapon.
"Oh we want people to have more options for their load out"
Well sometimes, when your dealing with ten void enemies in the special Dark Blade strike or the special Shield Brother strike you really would rather have a void primary or a solar primary.
It's kinda dump how they took this approach now. They definetly wanted the gameplay to last longer that's for sure! I hope someone else in charge of Destiny 2 focuses on bringing back elemental primaries again cause it's tedious to have to use 3 clips to take down a knight with a void shield or a wizard with a yellow health bat and solar that takes ages with kinetic
Just have Luke Smith focus on raids. Don't let him ruin the elemental primaries and let them come back please!

I agree. Elemental primaries were actually a goal and reason to play this hamster wheel of a game. Trials? Hell yeah...want that arc Messenger. Raid? Hell yeah, want that void hand cannon. Now it's like...trials? Nah... Might as well get the same damn weapon from bounties.

You were forced to use a specific weapon on specific encounters. Now you can choose freely and use what you want (ofc as long as it's powerful 😊)

Hate to admit, but before they took elementals from primaries, I used nothing but my fatebringer lol. Now I'm rotating my primaries based on what mood I'm in at the moment. Might have had something to it.

2 OdpowiedziIt also defeats the purpose of the "different loadout" bullcrap that they wanted. I'm pretty sure everyone is running about the same stuff for PvE and PvP. The Kings Fall primaries are awful but would be better if they had a burn to them.

What they should do is make kinetic weapons do a small amount of bonus damage versus all shield types and then make more weapons have elements, which would do a large amount of bonus damage to its specific element

I like it much more now. Was pigeon holed into using only primaries with elemental types for pve before.
