SERIOUS DESTINY PLAYERS READ SO BUNGIE MAY TAKE NOTICE PLEASE!
Ok , if your reading this know I've done my research and all that is necessary to make this kind of comment.
Ok so year 1 we had DlC. Which some loved and some found lack luster. That's no surprise.
Now, we have eververse and a live team. All of which are great. I love the direction.
Now as a COMMUNITY. I feel as though we SHOULD know what exactly eververse is paying for.
Urk has given us a heads up that there will be another event early 2016. Ok great wonderful.
He has also said there will be a huge update after. They failed to tell us whether we will be paying for it. I personally feel as though if we WERNT paying. He would have basically yelled it at us. We have dealt with sooo much change in their game. And that's OKAY . I get it. But everyone's so worried about nerfs and other nonsense that we have no control over. STOP.
If this is the new direction. Please don't leave us in the cold about it. It's not funny. And if I need to pay? I need to know now. We ALL do. PLEASE bungie. Pull back the curtain just a bit. I get things may change. But its not wrong to tell your community what your doing. And waiting a month or a week before is just not ok. I had 3 days to prepare for sparrow racing. I had no idea I may have needed an extra20$ to get a better experience. And for that I was unable to buy the book . I get some of you may have endless money. Or parents with deep pockets but I don't. And I believe we should ALL know what's going on. .
Guardians, please focus more on this. And bump or reply. Whatever needs to be done. And I'm sure we will get answers to this very important question .

7 OdpowiedziI work. No amount of money they would have the audacity to charge would be a burden to me. Get a job. That being said... The only thing I have purchased is the racing book... It doesn't give you anything other than a different uniform and bike skin you can earn. (And a banner you can earn.). I bought it knowing I could cheese the thing to support Bungie. I'll never buy an emote or random chance at a mask... That's stupid. But seriously, get a job.

I say if like destiny enough go ahead and start saving now 30 dollars. That way weather or not there is reason to pay your funds will be ready.

2 OdpowiedziMaybe if people didn't accuse them of being liars and cutting content when their plans don't work out 100% how they wanted them to, they would be more willing to be transparent about those plans. Do I still think they weren't completely honest about the auto rifle changes and the like? Yes, it looks like someone messed up and no one was willing to throw them under the bus, which is pretty normal in any business. Do I blame them after people's reaction to launch? Not really.

3 OdpowiedziHere ya go... Destiny and full dlc sales( tdb, how, ttk) generate the funds needed for destiny full dlc/destiny2 production. Eververse sales are a little different, the profit from the festival of lost mask sales went into creating srl (which we got for free) with the option to buy new emotes and the record book. They will take the record book and emote sales from srl and create the next free event. That is the free content. You will and should expect to pay for any full dlc or expansion.

I do agree that it would be nice for them to be a bit more open about the future. I mean I'm not sure what we are supposed to look forward too. Is it another dlc? Destiny2? This big event early 2016?

1 OdpowiedźHere's a novel idea... Assume you are going to have to pay and save for it. Assume that means you will need $50 for it and save that much. If you do not have to pay then keep the funds set aside strictly to be used for when you do. NOTHING ELSE. Once the point hits that you DO have to pay? You have the money set aside for it already. Once that money has been spent, start saving for the next time. Most likely, it will be nowhere near the $50 you set aside for it. The leftover money will give you a head start for saving for the next time. Yes, at first it will take some self control to not spend the funds on something else. You might be amazed at how this can end up applying in other aspects of life.

Please read the update again. I know how you feel and am on the same page. With that said, I do not believe we will be paying for the "new large update" because of the language he used in describing it. It was coupled with things like the races and Halloween events. It is with that coupling that I believe out micro transactions are covering the cost. However, I would not put it past the cooperate entity that is Bungie and activision to decide to make a larger profit. Under that term and condition I would be forced to assess the new game and see it I believe it to be worth it.

Bungie changes their mind 500,000,000,000 times a week. They can't tell us, because they don't even know. They've degenerated into making vague statements so they can always change their minds. (Since we players never forget and call Deej and Luke Smith out on everything they've ever said that turned out to be wrong)

I dont have endless money, or parents to pay for stuff I want. I just know how to budget my money, and have money to spend if I so chose to. Its simply called being a responsible adult. Things I can suggest, dont go out to eat all the time, buy your own groceries and make the food yourself. Save a certain amount of your paycheck, I have $50 of every paycheck deposited into a separate account, and I'm going to be making it more
