SERIOUS DESTINY PLAYERS READ SO BUNGIE MAY TAKE NOTICE PLEASE!
Ok , if your reading this know I've done my research and all that is necessary to make this kind of comment.
Ok so year 1 we had DlC. Which some loved and some found lack luster. That's no surprise.
Now, we have eververse and a live team. All of which are great. I love the direction.
Now as a COMMUNITY. I feel as though we SHOULD know what exactly eververse is paying for.
Urk has given us a heads up that there will be another event early 2016. Ok great wonderful.
He has also said there will be a huge update after. They failed to tell us whether we will be paying for it. I personally feel as though if we WERNT paying. He would have basically yelled it at us. We have dealt with sooo much change in their game. And that's OKAY . I get it. But everyone's so worried about nerfs and other nonsense that we have no control over. STOP.
If this is the new direction. Please don't leave us in the cold about it. It's not funny. And if I need to pay? I need to know now. We ALL do. PLEASE bungie. Pull back the curtain just a bit. I get things may change. But its not wrong to tell your community what your doing. And waiting a month or a week before is just not ok. I had 3 days to prepare for sparrow racing. I had no idea I may have needed an extra20$ to get a better experience. And for that I was unable to buy the book . I get some of you may have endless money. Or parents with deep pockets but I don't. And I believe we should ALL know what's going on. .
Guardians, please focus more on this. And bump or reply. Whatever needs to be done. And I'm sure we will get answers to this very important question .

2 OdpowiedziCorrect me if I'm wrong, but I think the reason bungie is being so hush hush is because they are sick of early leaks. Though it would be nice to know something rather than nothing.

While I agree that how cyrpitc and hush hush bungie acts is rather annoying, they are under no obligation to tell us anything. No company is. And if you think that everything they're doing isn't thought out and had market analysis applied to it you couldn't be more wrong. And if $20 is the lynchpin on this game or gaming in general you may want to re-evaluate some of your life choices. I love the money thing thrown out there btw. How much does it cost most of the people here to eat for a day or order a pizza for a Friday night, or any night for you college dudes. Then we get into those that buy beer and herbal smoke etc. and then complain about money. You honestly get a lot for your money in games when you look at it that way.

I'd like to consider myself a pretty 'serious' destiny player. And I more or less disagree with everything. I don't think Bungie needs to do anything. Would I like to have a little more information, but do I feel deprived with the lack of information I am receiving? No. I don't. If they come out with the next 'event' in January, and then they come out with another expansion that costs $20-$40, then I'm going to shovel $20-$40 to get it. I understand everyone's situation is different, but if you can't spare $20-$40 on a game once or twice a year, then you really should reconsider gaming as a hobby.

I paid for the taken king. Im not owed anything else. Therefore anymore free events i werent aware of when i bought the expanssion are a welcome bonus to me. If some offer cosmetic items for silver that i like, ill get them. If not ill pass. Its really as simple as that for me. I dont see any any need in worrying about things that havnt come to pass yet. ☺

the whole community isn't horrible my friend helped me to get 300 light from my first kings fall i was 293 but i left a 300 guess he helped till he had to go we still beat thee whole raid and then right after i helped someone with the raid golgoroth i had a 2 hors and i wasn't carried so the whole s=community isn't terrible

If you are in charge of a whole community you have to let people know what's up. Surprises are great but they can't be all you do. Especially if you have to pay.

1 OdpowiedźBungie being quiet about such things just makes them looks unprepared and disorganized. I for one would love them to be more open and honest, at least it's a move in the right direction. Good post BTW.

I agree. I wish Bungie would be more transparent about what is going on. We have no time frame for when the next content patch will hit. The current content is now old and boring. I wish they would tell us something.

2 OdpowiedziI read your entire post and the edit. I knew when I was reading it how this toxic community would respond, and I was right. It is pretty sad how most of this bunch spew hate and disgusting comments to just about every single post. The blowhards are what make this forum a not so safe place to visit. I try and get people to clean up their behavior but it doesn't help much. I completely agree with what you're asking for and I too have been asking Bungie to give us a heads up on new events or changes they're about to make. I'm getting pretty tired of all the cryptic messages, or the messages that appear on other social media except on their own forum, where they should be posted first. Alot of their gibberish and double-take in the weekly news is just that. There's pretty much no way to interpret what the hell they're saying. All this secretive stuff is totally unnecessary and for whatever reason Bungie thinks we like it. Well WE DON'T!!!!! I do hope DeeJ or Cosmo sees this and can change the way they communicate with us. But to give you my honest opinion, I don't really think they care one way or the other and will keep doing the way they have been since day one. Launching the SRL was ok, but like you said, to get the full benefit out of it we'd have to buy things from Eververse, not a good move Bungie. Learn from this. Cheers

I'd perfer dlc over the events. They lie and disappoint, i wish destiny was all what we thought it was :'(... But sadly it's not, it's a game of wasted potential.....

"We should be told exactly what eververse is paying for"?!?!? Really?!? Eververse provides something some people want, if you buy it, you got what you payed for. If you didn't then, you don't get anything. It was never said, "buy eververse so we can make new content for you guys" That is there profit. They are a business. Why do you feel entitled to know where that money is going? You know how idiotic that sounds? Once they sell a service, and we buy it, it's none of our business what they do what the money afterwards.

I would enjoy (like before) $2 dlc's that change the game. Give a new grind for afew months, and award something important to earn to show your effort. I'm not enjoying this live team thing that just gives us busy work. It's cool, but give us something more.. ya know?
