SRL dropping 320 gear is a joke....
Seriously though. I thought end game loot was restricted to end game activities.....
I don't even care about them selling level 25 kits for $40, since it's not end game tier loot.
Why would stupid ass racing reward you with gear at the same level as raiding, trials, and iron banner.
I usually support bungie in much of what they do, but this one pisses me off.
Even if, by some ridiculous line of thought, you consider SRL end game, why wouldn't they limit end game drops to once per reset like every single other end game activity? SRL has become the most rewarding activity in destiny now? Lol.
Maybe next month they'll add a remake of asteroids that drops 320 chest pieces after a couple hundred games. You know, to make sure there is enough endgame content and end game gear for everyone...

Wondering if anyone else has noticed that iron banner doesn't reward anything close to the amount of 320 gear people were getting in SRL...

1 OdpowiedźNormally I would agree with you. But I have been doing the raid every week since it came out with 3 characters and can not get to 310. I am at 308 with 1 character and 306 with the other 2. I will take what I can get. Can't even find a raid team because I can't get to 310. Everything that drops is 302 - 304. That's the joke. They need to fix the drop system for the raid.

1 OdpowiedźI say it's a welcome change to actually get high end gear more consistently. I agree that the raid is where the best gear should drop but as we all know the raid drops are not very good on average. SRL drops for me have been good. I've received 1 320 helmet and 1 320 scarf. Numerous 310+ of both items and I'm almost Rank 4. I will continue to play SRL because I actually enjoy the racing and the drops are worth my time investment. I cannot say that about the raid at this point in time.

3 OdpowiedziTo be honest, this has been the only way I have gotten high level Helmets and Class items. I run Strikes, Nightfalls and Raids with 3 characters, but helmet over 310 have never dropped for me. So through tedious racing to hit Rank 3, I now get the gear I need to get my Character to 315+.

1 OdpowiedźBest part is the helmets drop with good pvp AND pve rolls. Farmed one for each character. Still need that elusive 320 though.

1 OdpowiedźHow is this any different than Iron Banner? It's a pvp activity that gives you rewards based on the rank you've grinded to that only rewards victory with ranking up a little faster and doesn't require you to do well to progress.

It is for single players who hardly get a chance at kf hard mode challenges. And it is only helmets and class items.

[/quote] I see here a two reasons: 1. Because of invested time. Hit Rank 3 - it's not a one hour play. 2. Help to up light levels for those lone wolfs, who is still didn't find proper team of six to do raids. AND 3. Maybe it's a little workaround patch for shitty Oryx drops in addition to challenge mode?!.. P.S. Don't look at me and my reasons, i left my clan two days ago because of one of our stupid admin, who had spoilered Star Wars 7 :) P.S.S. More than 75 races x 5 min (race + join + etc) = one 320 helm

3 OdpowiedziHow does people getting 320 drops affect you in a negative way? If anything, when looking for raid groups it'll be better for you as people will be higher light level. Try and look at things from a positive perspective, not negative.
