You are all idiots. You are all desticles. They lied to all of us. Only cosmetic items for microtransactions huh? Are level boosts, weapon telemetrys, etc cosmetic? Hell no. Clearly not. Desticles OPEN YOUR EYES, destiny is dead.

Microtransactions will not kill a game. However the lack of everything that goes with a game of this size (story, content etc) will.
-
Destiny is not dead and is still incredibly fun; however, I am concerned with the trend towards pay to win. I sincerely hope they do not cross that threshold.
-
12 OdpowiedziThe amount of people defending these "boosts" is unbelievable. And they really think that there is nothing wrong with it!
-
First I would pay if possible but i have found nothing that can be bought to gett better gear or boosts

If it is really dead them they will shut down the servers tomorrow and MoreConsole will make a montage of the memories. Until that happens at least put destiny in the icu or on life support.

Inb4 incoming posts about true level 40 players

So many things wrong with this post. They didn't lie. They said Eververse was only cosmetic. Desticle is a person who posts Destiny content in any subforum other than #Destiny Destiny is not dead. I'm not happy with what they're doing. I'm 85% against it, but I can't really stop a company from being wrong. I can however stop you from being wrong.

Edytowany przez użytkownika z0m6i3slayer93: 12/16/2015 11:31:44 PMJust stop playing destiny man if you hate bungie for what they do because people like you who rant on and on about mistakes that bungie does with there game then your going to ruin it for us as a community and your gonna ruin it for yourself, plus the new paid level boost doesn't matter it only raises you to level 25 like it did when the TTK came out if you wanted to raise a character, nothing has changed its pretty much a waist paying the $30 to do this when it doesn't take long to level up a character to 25 in 10 hours or less.
-
It's the principal man they said they wouldn't do stuff like this example bungie put a finger or two in your butt to see if you would let it slide since no body complained now comes the shaft don't cry -blam!- once the full pay to win packages come out it's a slippery slope to not complain when a company puts in micro transactions it promotes bad business practices better yet goes back on there word after stating they wouldn't do that in the first place.

12 OdpowiedziNot going to defend this, for some it crosses a line and that is their opion. IMO this does not cross the line in stone that is pay to win. For me pay to win is (credit Mr Toast for listing these out so well) - - buying an exclusive subclass - buying an exclusive exotic weapon or armor - buying a boost that significantly (like way greater than 3of coins) increases exotic drop rate and is usable all the time - buying something that would be required to play content such as the raid - buying things that would give you a significant advantage over every other player in the crucible When they cross that line I will be done with Destiny. IMO if you want to spend $30 to $45 for Lvl 25, its your money even if I find it pretty stupid to skip 10 hours for that much money.
-
Level boosts came out with taken king. The spark of light or whatever if your order early. Still have it in my vault. All they did (which is funny) is sell that separately.
-
Meh? Can't really summon the cares. Doesn't affect me. But you do you.

Edytowany przez użytkownika OhNoItGodzilla: 12/16/2015 11:19:49 PMYes, insults are a great way to start a logical argument. Unless... You don't have a logical argument for why this is so troubling. Logic not emotional outrage
-
2 OdpowiedziI don't really care, if they get more money and it works for them then hopefully they will make more content to draw in more players. This would be good. (It could also just result in more micro transactions and no additional content, but eventually there wouldn't be anything left to do and destiny would die)
-
Why do you care
-
Or its called were older and don't care, in the end it won't change anything except the amount of childish responses on the forums, the game stays the same.
-
A level boost barely scratches the surface of Destiny and doesn't provide the individual with unrivaled skill.

Edytowany przez użytkownika ZeroCool: 12/16/2015 11:15:26 PMWell...people will buy anything, folks in general have the benefit of the doubt. Sane folks that it. The Common Desticle will blindly follow their masters wishes and claim everything is alright in a burning house, a sinking ship, the whistle of an object falling 3000ft from above packed to hell with radioac...you get my point? They are essentially paying to win, by hitting 25, you've by passed the majority of leveling story content, you're paying to get passed the BS in other words. If you really want lvl.25 that damn bad, you can pay me half the price and Ill do it, hell I'll even gurantee you an exotic. (Subject to RNG) This is what will ultimately divide the community up into True OG players since the beginning and New Age P2W kids who can buy their way up. What group are you in? 🔆TITANMASTERRACE

If someone wants to watse money to basically skip the whole game that's not my problem. "People who quote themselves are idiots" - Seraph

7 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Andrenden: 12/16/2015 10:49:30 PMTo everyone over reacting. This boost just lets you start TTK content immediately. Anyone that buys it is still worse off than you. Your 315+ isn't phased by their ONE level 25 character. It's not "Pay to win" and it's not even "Pay to get on my level scrub" it's "Pay to immediately start TTK content". Then there's the price point. New guardians get Dentiny bundled for cheaper than us who have followed it since day one. This overpriced boost is catered to those new players. It's an equalization of price should they buy it and it's one that would further fund free content for the rest of us to enjoy. You should be thanking the fresh noobs that buy this. Tl;dr You're so salty that Paula Deen wouldn't even bake with you.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Realmz: 12/16/2015 11:04:00 PMuntil they sell actual legendary gear and weapons only then i will join the micro haters. But i do agree about the price it should atleast be $5 or maybe $10.

....... Everyone's level 40 right..................... Sooo if you are above lvl 25 this doesn't matter to you right......... You people are funny

Edytowany przez użytkownika Svea_Forzum: 12/16/2015 11:00:37 PMThey never said it was "only" going to be cosmetic. They did however say "So we’re not looking at any pay-for-power type stuff." back in 2013. I would not take a boost item to lvl 25 as a "pay for power" thing since it's not better than anything else, nor is it close to max level. It's level 25, like really. We all got one when we bought TTK at launch, there were NO complaints then, yet there is now when it's literally the exact same thing as back then.

I find it stupid for the price. Half the price of Destiny Vanilla. That's pretty much 75%.
