Everyone is saying it was game breaking and it was good to nerf it.
It was never used as a heavy in PVP only idiots used it. And in PVE it was the fun Boss killer that helped in making the grind m ore fun and endurable. Gally was the best balanced weapon of all times! It allowed you to enjoy your Bosskills. Who really cares if it too now 3 minutes less to kill a bullet sponge!? Now without it, it is just senseless time wasting shooting bullets.
No one should agree to this nerf... anyhow it is over now and you have to spend more time on stupid bosses.

Normal Vog, gally required Hard Atheon, level 30 with max gally CE Normal Fresh run, must have gally Crota hard checkpoint, 32s with max gally only Skolas, need 2 34s with maxed gjallarhorns Nightfall, must have gally and max level
All recruitment
-
"Atheon Cp lvl 34 need Gally."
-
It made all bosses easy mode.
-
It was always used in PvP. It and Truth.
-
8 OdpowiedziGo back to old recruitment posts and 90% will say max light, need ghally. That's why
-
1 OdpowiedźActually it was pretty damn good for pvp. I would argue better than truth because you could miss and have the wolf pack rounds still kill someone
-
1 OdpowiedźPeople couldn't spell Gjallarhorn right.
-
It made it a requirement to do any type of endgame activity. No one wanted you and your sh!t rng. I feel bad for joining people like that but I had to get gear.
-
1 OdpowiedźBesides it being the single best single target DPS available, it forced a massive amount of people to be exiled based on not having a rocket. (Which for all purpose was hardly required to beat Crota on HM) The gun had a toxicity around it due to people always kicking others out for not having it. Unlike TOM there way no way to "earn" this gun by anything more than simple luck of the draw. Anyone can get TOM through a quest, thus negating excuses for not acquiring it. Golly was different because it was nothing but RNG.
-
Gally was great in pvp. It could kill bladedancers, sunsingers, and any shielded opponent in one rocket. No other rockets could do that
-
This is old hat. Move on.
-
After you got ghallarhorn did anyone use any other exotic weapon in Crotas end? Or prison? Maybe icebreaker but that was replaced with black hammer.
-
5 OdpowiedziKilling Skolas in 20 seconds was game breaking. 2 manning Crota was game breaking. Archon Priest in 15 seconds on solar Nightfall was so much fun ;)
-
7 OdpowiedziPeople relied on it too much
-
It needed to be needed don't act like it didnt
-
It broke the LFG
-
I'll just leave this here...
-
4 OdpowiedziIt wasn't. Bungie just wanted to stop people choosing Fireteams based on whether or not you have it.
-
It was unhealthy for the community, many groups required it because it made this so easy, you never needed it but if you didnt have it you were useless in many peoples eyes. Its like what TOM is today most groups require it as it makes things easier. You dont need it. Just look at the posts like "If you dont have tom" There's no excuse etc Note: ive never made a post like ↑ So dont bother looking
-
Just spitballing here, but it's 7 rockets did the same damage as 14 of Truth for single targets. It was extremely strong in pvp, what are you smoking? Kill anything, wolf pack rounds clean up another 3. My first slayer medal was a single rocket followed by wolf pack rounds.
-
The ghjallyhorn wasn't the problem, it was the players who required it for raids. This segregated players. Similar to ToM and black spindle. Players wanted as many ghjally as they can get to make things run smoother and faster.
-
You are so dumb
-
It was because the people who didn't have it were jealous of those who did and cried about it
-
5 OdpowiedziTook me around 9 months to get it, then Xur sold it the week after and then they nerfed it the month after :(
-
Skolas dead in around twenty
-
4 OdpowiedziKilling Atheon in 30 seconds is game breaking. Sorry.
