Mom just ripped my destiny disc in half AMA
My dad got destiny for me last Christmas and he died a little over two months ago. My parents were divorced and my mom has always had severe anger issues. I was planning on moving in full time with my dad. But now I live with my mom all the time. I hate my mom. I have an average of a B and she yelled at me about my grades( it's usually higher too I've just been missing lots of school lately). I don't know what to do at this point.
EDIT 1: She said she will buy me a new one and apologized but she didn't say when

My dad died last October. Then my step dad died two days before Christmas. It's been a strange year. Just ignore the bullshit. I had shit grades in high school because I didn't care enough. College? Straight A's the whole time because I enjoyed the classes.

16 OdpowiedziSorry for your loss bro. Your mom's probably going through a lot and just went a little overboard. Sounds like you need to work on your relationship with your mom my friend. She is only probably the most important person in your life to date. To say you hate your mom is sad to hear. I would take a bullet for my mom and hope one day you feel the same way. With your dad gone she could use a little help I'd imagine so now would be a good time to mend your relationship. She brought you into this world so you owe her a lifetime of love and respect as debt.

2 OdpowiedziI would just download the game. I try to have a digital copy of my games for a few reasons. Firstly would be the obvious so it doesn't get snapped in half by an angry girlfriend or friend or whoever. Secondly if I ever want to link my account with one of my friends ( which I'm hoping to do after my best friend finally picks up an xbone) he can have all the games I have for free. Thirdly I never have to worry about my discs getting scratched or lost or just becoming to dang old to use. Fourthly if I run out of room on my little 500gb xbone I can just uninstall a game and then whenever I want to play it again down the line I can reinstall for free no hassle........ Just a few good reasons to go digital, of course their are downsides as well like you can't trade in a digital copy for store credit or you cant just let a friend borrow the game for a few days you have to actually link accounts like I said earlier, which can be a turn off to younger folks who have a lot of buddies they can trade games with for the week. Anyway I hope everything works out for ya man! Even if you don't get another destiny copy their are pleanty of other great things out there just waiting for you to try! Chin up guardian ;-)
