Edit 6: how is sunbreaker overpowered if I can fight two of them kill one and survive the other? Btw this was pre nerf
Edit 7: I just direct hit a warlock and he didn't die!! I think that's enough proof that it was an overboard nerf. Also the warlock didn't have a super or shield. Just a plain warlock that survived a point-blank hammer.

To be fair I main a titan, well I did, I'm now warlock, to me the nerf is good, sunbreakers aren't freak anyway, you can just run off most of the time, I run striker now... Because hammer isn't that realise imo

Tbf I agree with this. I have mained titan from the 9th of September 2014. When we got Sunbreaker i was so happy to get a good pvp class. I do however see the imbalance it has caused. E.G: most tanky super (bar mid FoH with unstoppable) Most amount of damage In a super (roughly the same as a GG with splash and tracking and Chain explosions) And it's the fastest what with titan skipping. So no I agree with these nerfs because they buffed striker and defender (if defender was only a little) and they've really just brought it to where it was meant to be. Now our hammers need to be a little bit more aimed and less "fire and forget" We need to make sure to doge good snipers and other strong supers (GG mainly) Oh and we can now think about running other builds besides cautarize and forge master.

They nerfed a lot of things, but only slightly, alongside buffing some other aspects. I think this is a great starting point for trying to balance this class

6 OdpowiedziHonestly I wish that sun breakers didn't get nerfed and I main a hunter and very rarely use a Titan I find it fun to fight sun breakers in the crucible because it's a challenge I don't see why people need to hate so much

11 OdpowiedziThe cool down was a bit much i mean blade dancer doesn't have it and I've seen a guy wipe a team then proceeded to spawn kill half of it because his health kept coming back he got 4 with one shock wave

There is videos of the tracking where its next to nothing and now they took the stats from it. Taking the stats away, putting them on fleet foot (like they did), and giving 10% increase to the tracking would have created options. Increase nuetral game or get the couple kills little easier on super. Seriously tracking was non existent before and now its basically nothing. Just a stupid nerf for a broken perk.

I think this nerf is appropriate. It doesn't change the lethality or effectiveness of a Suncharge/Explosive Pyre/Simmering Flames build or the effectiveness of a Scorched Earth/Thermal Vent/Fire Keeper build. They toned down armor, to put it in line with other supers, made hammers travel marginally slower so sniping people with them would be harder, and nerfed the Forgemaster/Flameseeker/Cauterize build, to put it in line with the other two builds I mentioned up top. All looks good to me.

Nerfed to bring balance. Think about it...a precision knife throw from a hunter can't one shot someone with the burn on - that's what they changed the Titan melee to. The hammers were insanely difficult to dodge or avoid - so they slowed down the hammers slightly and reduced the tracking. Sunbreakers had way too much health that a sniper couldn't one shot them in the head (the only super like that) - I assume they can be one shotted now just like every other super. Plus the fixed the biggest issue about Titans...the melee range woo! No more t Rex arms.
