I am finally at a point in the game I can pick and choose which weapons to use. I have 2 decent Rocket Launchers, a decent auto rifle or two, but want something with more range too. Special weapons are still a work in progress
I have the Vendor Hung Jury and it seems pretty decent, but is there any better (and easily accessible) scout or pulse rifle I should be looking for?
Edit: sounds like I need to keep the hung jury and learn how to use it properly... Thanks.
Edit 2: wow, so many good weapons. Going to main the hung jury for now, but I want to try out a bunch of these other ones too
Edit 3: 1000 helpful replies. Going to keep working through the list of weapons to try.
Thanks everyone.

5 OdpowiedziI pretty much just use hung jury for pve. I like my full auto suros dis 43 for pvp. The gunsmith is selling an arms day order for one this week.

4 OdpowiedziTread Upon Stars have higher, and I mean a shitload more of aim assistance (20 vs 80 iirc) so if good roll drops on you, it will be certaintaly be better than Hung Jury, plus the sights on the Jury ewww

Simply put, no.

Hung Jury just shines in so many areas: good for PVE and PVP, guaranteed perks (Firefly and Triple Tap are just awesome), and it's smooth all around. I've boosted mine to 307 and will keep raising it as I get more gear. It's been my go-to-legendary.

Imo hung jury is the best gun I have ever used in destiny for pve I won't use anything else anymore

Just about every other scout.

1 OdpowiedźI like my inward lamp better. Higher stability and full Auto. It melts.

If you're talking pve wise then no.

Based on a year's experience of using scout rifles like flexible semi-automatix snipers, I have to say any perks buffing precision hits/kills makes it a good Scout. Treads Upon Stars has potential for greatness with fallen bonus damage and high starting stats, but you run RNG on the perks. Hung Jury guarantees greatness if you're a precision hit pro. (I strongly suggest a No Time when Paradox comes up.)

I know this is directed at scouts but as you mention pulses under the same breath the raid pulse smote of merain can give hung jury a run for its money in PVE if it drops with firefly - thing is a monster. On another note - dream roll on the banner launcher!

Edytowany przez użytkownika The Wolf 010: 12/2/2015 3:18:18 AMIf you have a warlock, the tlaloc is better. If not, the only one I've found that I like is my doom of chelchis (it has full auto).

Hung Jury is the best you can buy, and is the most versatile scout I've seen so far. The Last Extremity is also good and has the same base stats as Jade Rabbit. You can find others that maybe better but it's luck of the draw because it will all come down to which perks drop on your version of the gun. For instance a SUROS DIS-47 with full auto and hand layed stock is like having a SUROS auto rifle with a lot of accuracy at range. While a full auto DIS-43 with hand layed stock feels like a Halo DMR. I have Treads upon Stars and it's ok, but its stability isn't as good as I prefer. But if it had a lot more stability and full auto or firefly I'd use it exclusively.

Haven't a found one yet. I've even gotten decent rolls on Treads Upon Stars and I still pick Hung Jury. Maybe the Trials or Iron Banner scouts are better but I haven't gotten them.
-
I love the Hung Jury, but I'm not a fan of the scopes. I like the suros dis-47 too. Fires crazy fast.
-
NL Shadow 701X. I have it on my hunter, it has stats almost equal to hung jury but it fires way faster and has 21 rounds in each clip. Plus mine has accurate shots while airborne so I can jump around like a maniac and still get kills, which means I can avoid being hit while I hit them. You should check it out, it's awesome.

It depends. Alot of people say treads upon stars however that is an identical archetype scout. High impact, low raf. Treads upon stars has a smaller magazine clip though making it worse imo. You might want to try experimenting with some higher raf, lower impact scouts to see how you like them. Mida is a medium raf, medium impact, Inward lamp is a high raf, low impact. All of them can destroy. I use mida in crucible, and hung jury in pve. I can't stand the low raf scouts in crucible personally.

Look at the scout rifle on my warlock, looks pretty good, not sure if it's better than the hung jury
