I do the same, but I do have the gun. I prefer Sleeper Simulant since it has higher burst dps.

Burst and dps don't go into the same statement. What you're looking for is burst damage.

No, per battle time, sleeper Simulant is better for Oryx and Ogres than Touch of Malice. Burst indicates short duration.
