Why are full fireteams 4700+ grimoire players playing Classic 6v6?
So my boyfriend just got me into Destiny since I like PvP in other games. I start up the playlist that he says is the easiest, Classic 6v6. Every game it's high level, flawless emblem players? Even full fireteams of 4700+ grimoire players? Why?
Are the new maps that bad (haven't tried regular control or clash or whatever) or are people that desperate for stat padding?

The new maps are fine... for Rift. Otherwise, meh. I miss Anomaly and the Hallway of Doom.

The old maps were fun and varied, but they were 'Taken'. So some of us go there to play them. Cathedral sucks...

3 OdpowiedziThose are the collage kids that play against the pee wee team to make them selves feel better.....honestly,there really should be a handful of maps that don't allow fireteam to enter, randoms only.Its those people that then turn around and spout how their high k/d shows real skill yet they can't play above 1.5 unless their running in a full fireteam. So pathetic.

A lot of folks like the old maps. I am not sure why Bungie doesnt add them to the mix. So people migrate to the classics.

Old players like old maps. None of my PvP friends from year 1 play the new playlists. They stick with the classic stuff.

Many people with a super high grimoire are about done with this game (did almost all of the available content) The last thing i would do with destiny is play all the nostalgic maps!

Playing old maps is fun and it's the only place to find big maps nowadays. But honestly I think hardcore players like playing 'em because they get a kick outta smashing any newbie they find.

1 OdpowiedźYes. Personally I hate every new map except vertigo. Thats why I always search classic skirmish whenever I can get a game. I just wish more people would play classic playlists.

Cuz new maps are pretty garbage compared to the old ones, and they probably are having fun pub stomping.

2 OdpowiedziI solo queue with some Year 1 guns in the Classic 6v6 to enjoy some old maps, and if I see fireteams, its normally beginners. However I did queue against a 5 man fireteam of 307+ players (4 Sunbreakers!) who absolutely crushed the beginners I was paired with, leaving even me with a barely positive K/D. I'll just stick with Classic FFA ro wreck boosters from now on.

You realize regular crucible is scaled? Light levels and gear do not make a difference.

I do it because yeah the new maps are mostly tiny shot gun havens, and because the newer maps are shittier in general
