Why are full fireteams 4700+ grimoire players playing Classic 6v6?
So my boyfriend just got me into Destiny since I like PvP in other games. I start up the playlist that he says is the easiest, Classic 6v6. Every game it's high level, flawless emblem players? Even full fireteams of 4700+ grimoire players? Why?
Are the new maps that bad (haven't tried regular control or clash or whatever) or are people that desperate for stat padding?

There isn't any lvl advantage in classic 6v6. A lot of people just prefer the maps they are use to playing

I saw this post and it made me laugh. Take while the takings good i guess. But seriously this is why we need big team matchmaking so 4+ people fireteams are matched with similar so this doesnt happen

I just miss my year one maps. If they just included all the old maps in regular rotation, then the variety would be greater overall. It would help with the repetition issues as well

I see some saying to boost there k/d but that's whack why if you know bad players are there would you think your fake k/d means anything to your self and others

Its easy to do for bounties or use fun guns

Me personally, I do think the year one maps were a lot better... However they did put year one maps in the rotation of normal playlist, on the last update. But they don't come up nearly as often as year 2 maps

The new maps are mostly trash compared to the original launch ones and Bungie forces you to play them non stop in the default playlists. There's also way more Sunbreaker/Stormcaller spam in the normal playlist. I honestly wish there was a way to just go back to Destiny's launch last year, add in Trials, and play that game without all the Taken King crap.

1 OdpowiedźThere are some simple reasons really: 1. Some people feel like playing the old maps rather than the new ones, or they just want to have a bit more variety. 2. There tend to be less sunbreakers in classic playlists. 3. Some people want to play the larger maps (ie bastion). 4. Classic playlists are generally less sweaty and offer a more relaxed game.

vanilla destiny had excellent maps , TDB had ok maps , HOW had good maps , TTK has shit -blam!-ing maps

1 OdpowiedźMe and my buddies play the classic lists some nights because the vanilla maps show up more often and we like those maps better than the newer TTK maps. Played Shores of Time five times in a row a few nights ago, thought I had died and gone to heaven, my favorite map by far.

Yes the new maps are that bad. Every game has original maps that people know and love. By separating its content bungee is forcing us to play classic to play the maps we like. Like shores of time.

3 OdpowiedziIt's because the new maps aren't that great and because in classic you get paired up with every one who doesn't have the taken King DLC so everyone can feel better about themselves being better than everyone who just bought the game haha.
