So after skipping last IB because I didn't feel like submitting myself to the inevitable salty lag fest, I decided to go for it this week. Lo and behold I was yet again disappointed by an "endgame" activity.
While I appreciate the fact that armour and weapons drop after matches, I've had only 3 drops worth keeping out of 5 because they were the only drops over 300. The recommended level is 290, yet the gear is levelled at 280? That isn't an incentive to buy gear that has a decent roll.
The light level problem in IB is as prevalent as ever as well. You gave us a graph showing that once a player is 10 light levels above another there'd be a noticeable difference in power. That's definitely not true. I have downed several 310s with my (previously) 290 Titan fairly easily. Especially when your graph essentially said that at 20 levels difference the damage would essentially be negligible.
There is still a long way before IB can be considered endgame.

A light level difference of 10 is miniscule on a good day. Everyone runs around 300 so none of the gun fight outcomes are gonna change because of light level. The level advantage is meant to punish players dangerously underleveled, not to give you a significant advantage because you've had a bit more luck than another player. Oh.

2 OdpowiedziMy GF is 260 she was killing 300's with me last night with no issues. There was no level advantage IMHO even she said she should not be able to kill them that easy lol.
