Iron Banner Loot is Super Generous
Congrats Bungie, you found another way to break one off in our asses. Endgame PvE Oryx HM drops a 309 ghost and 2 moldering shards, monthly PvP Iron Banner gifts loot to anyone that stays long enough.
Gifting top tier items is going to leave players feeling just as unsatisfied with the game as making sure the continued grind drops 0 usable loot.

You do realize that Destiny was made for all players. Some don't raid yet deserve a chance at high light gear. They added 2 ways to get high light in PVP (IB and ToO) and left only one in PVE (raid). If anyone is offended by someone else being able to gain high level gear, then there is little hope for humanity! You and yours will be the only high light combatants in the war against the darkness. We will lose!

Agreed. That's why the tempered buff should be dialed down a bit. Its just too easy and too quick for endgame level rewards.

Especially seeing as it's not the pinnacle of pvp trials should drop higher than iron banner.

Play for fun with friends and to improve skill. The rewards that come are much sweeter bonuses when that aren't the only reason to play. I'm a filthy casual, but I enjoy when I play.

You say that like PvE is hard. Even if you suck at PvP and got carried, you still [i]had[/i] to of hated getting smoked all the way to rank 5.

You can scream about it 'till your face turns red, but the loot drops are all equally terrible and everyone should take advantage of everything at their disposal instead of saying a specific group doesn't deserve something.

I got a 318 secondary, 312 heavy, 315 ghost, 317 cloak, 316 helmet That's not to mention the regular rewards that dropped I played iron banner and got a 310 artifact, 310 ghost, 313 secondary It's RNG homie Everyone was complaining that the reward system sucked, now you're complaining that it's to good? Why? Do everyone a favor and shut up please

I didn't play more than 20 games of iron banner this week. I waited until Monday night to play and it took me a couple hours to go from rank 1 to rank 5. Got some really great rewards too. For the time played it was well worth it. The raid is the complete opposite. Everyone feels like it's more worthwhile to skip the raid now because it's too much of a chore.

3 OdpowiedziHaven't bothered with the Ttk raid yet..so grinding out 3 characters in IB for some decent stuff seems all right to me..and you don't get top tier stuff straight away you do have to level up a bit first.

3 OdpowiedziGive it up man, this is now a pvp game, Bungie gave up on pve long ago. If you do pve then you are wasting your time, pvp is the only thing that matters now and nothing else. I'm sure if it was up to them, they would remove pve and just make pvp, after all all you need is a map and some guns, no story, no mechanics, no imagination, just a map and some guns.

The problem isn't Iron Banner, the problem is the raid. Don't nerf IB, buff raid rewards.

I'll admit I was happy with what I got only stopped fallout to do iron banner but took me only a total of 12 hours over 2 days to maker rank 5 tho I did start it on Saturday

4 OdpowiedziHaha! I've been doing the HM raid 3 times a week since it's out and the highest shell I got was 315 while my friend dropped a 320 at the banner and the highest helmet I ... Wait, right, the HM raid never gave me the harrowed helmet but the same friend dropped a 320 IB helmet. Now I'm 315 and that friend is now 313 without doing the HM raid once. (Glad for my friend but wtf drops?)
