The shotgun's reign of terror is coming to an end. And shotgun player's tears taste delicious.
Sorry shotgun players. No more cheap easy kills. You better get some actual skill if you want to keep using the shotgun. No more sliding into a doorway and killing someone all the way across the room. No more blinking near an enemy and blasting him for a kill. No more charging around a corner and killing an enemy in one shot at a ridiculous distance. If you want shotgun kills when the update hits you're going to have to actually get up close and personal.

Sounds to me like you don't know how to play against shotguns. It's quite simple. If you come to a doorway and see red on the radar right in front of you don't go through. Shotguns are the easiest thing to combat in PvP. Make them play on your terms and they're useless.

Only one I don't mind getting killed by is the chaperone. It shoots how I think shotguns should work. Plus it was hard to get.

People will still cry salty tears bout shot gunners after this patch. All this patch will encourage Shotgun users to camp corners. Weapons to ready nerfed? Have it equipped on a corner Can't draw after sprint/blink Cool... Camp a corner Range reduced... Again Nice... Let's go sit at a corner with a shotgun. Bungie is -blam!-ing up with this nerf. They're trying to make the game more ranged, then buffing the 1 primary used up close (Auto's), while Nerfing the fukc out of Shotguns. (How does any of that make sense) PVP is about to get a whole lot sweatier y'all. Mark my words.

I'm glad they are doing this. I use the sidearm now. It does a pretty darn good job once I figured out how to use it effectively. I win most of the time against a shotgun unless it's a full auto invective or chaperone then it's a toss up
