The shotgun's reign of terror is coming to an end. And shotgun player's tears taste delicious.
Sorry shotgun players. No more cheap easy kills. You better get some actual skill if you want to keep using the shotgun. No more sliding into a doorway and killing someone all the way across the room. No more blinking near an enemy and blasting him for a kill. No more charging around a corner and killing an enemy in one shot at a ridiculous distance. If you want shotgun kills when the update hits you're going to have to actually get up close and personal.

Plan c used a fair bit just fusion rifles far too dependant on lag will be great with slight buff i think although perk is temperamental sometimes does not kick in sometimes kicks in when holding for a while.

Did you rage-quit when the opposing team showed up equipped with Felwinters that had Aggressive Ballistics, Hammer Forged, Shot Package, and Rangefinder? Or did you say, "I got to get me one of those!!!" NO weapon in this game has ever "terrified" me, mister. "Slight annoyance" is the farthest I will go. If you wanted a "reign of terror", you should have been around for the original Vex Mythoclast, with its 56-round magazine, scout-rifle range, insane accuracy, and 1-second time to kill. Its mere appearance in the Crucible caused mass quitting on the other team. It had a patch dedicated exclusively to fixing it. Those were the days....

6 OdpowiedziThey went WAY overboard with the shotgun nerf. People already needed to be close to get a shotgun kill... Now they need to be within melee range ???? That's just BS and not even remotely realistic. I have a conspiracy theory D with range finder and I already need to be way close to get a kill, now it's going to be a joke.

1 OdpowiedźMy question is which melee are they basing the nerf off of. Warlock, Titan or Hunter. They all have unique styles of melee so which will compare to the new shotgun nerf.

It's just like how theists used to be the Internet's punching bag a few years back and now Atheists have taken that spot. Fedora jokes, bananas up the ass and so on. The internet atheist is the laughing stock of the modern net. Soon, sniper rifles will become the vilified "OP" weapon that everyone wants nerfed.

9 OdpowiedziI ran through TOO and hit IB 5 in the past week and there was maybe 2 players (both blink strike Hunters) that were using shotguns exclusively. Both were also going red - green bar throughout the match, so I'd guess they were lag switching too. So I just did not encounter a rash of Shot Gunners on any of the maps. Snipers and pulse rifles are far more common.

Bet shotgunners still make forum warriors cry. Also, I think the nerd may be a bit excessive. Imo all they needed to do is balance high impact shotguns so that rifled barrel + rangefinder on a conspiracy theory didn't end up being a 10 yard sniper.

24 OdpowiedziI liked the thorn/tlw + sniper shotguns meta more :( It rewarded people with quick aim and reflexes. Now everything is about holding down the trigger until someone is tickled to death.

2 OdpowiedziThey ninja nerfed snipers back with the taken King update and ppl are complaining about AA and quick scoping. I miss being able to sprint cancel after reloading to instantly shoot again but now that delay is there that always throws me off. They should be happy because it could be worse
