A -blam!-ING CHAPERONE NERF?! This update is atrocious, and it seals the deal. Destiny is ruined.
this is the only weapon in destiny I've never heard anyone complain about.
look at my k/d, I'm not that good, I worked my ass off for that weapon. now they lower base damage but increase precision damage?
news flash bungie, IT ALREADY ONE HIT TO THE HEAD. now I'm gonna have to two shot the enemy to the body EVEN IF THEYVE ALREADY TAKEN DAMAGE. absolute bullshit in every form.
my friends and I actually joked about this gun getting nerfed because it was clear it never would, BUT YOU ACTUALLY DID IT. you are driving you're game so far down in this -blam!-ing pit it's ridiculous.
wow a precision range buff, something it definitely didn't need. this only hurts the weapon in pvp, which might I add is the only thing it's ever going to be used in. the weapon is useless in pve.
if anyone reading this ever actually thought the chaperone was overpowered, you truly are a real scrub lmfao. for the amount of effort to obtain the weapon it should have been LOADS better, and now bungie openly takes a shit on this shit weapon.
what about hand cannons?! accuracy increased. are they openly admitting the last patch made random bullets that should of hit, JUST NOT -blam!-ING HIT. regardless, all legendary hand cannons are still gonna be weak as shit, so what's the goddamn point?!
AND, to top it all off, they are only releasing TWO time gated exotics. this means one class, if not two, will not be getting a new exotic.

Agreed. Bungies like the new kid in school. They worry so much about what everyone thinks of them they start hanging out and listening to the wrong group of kids. They start doing stupid things to get attention from that group of kids and it only does more damage to them. Then that group of kids decide they dont need him anymore and just kick him from the group leaving him there with no one and a plate of mistakes.

Since they are buffing headshot dmg you can probably shot down anyone with a armor buff on their super if your fast enough. Btw it feels satisfying when a fireborned warlock self revives and while he is stuck in his animation I am free to get those headshot kills in, you've been warned fireborned warlocks. If you want go make a defender Titan with a bubble and weapons of light buff. That way you will still 1-2 shot someone on the chest. Btw chaperone and weapons of light is still a good 1 shot kill combo regardless of where that slug lands. OP go make a Titan defender now.... No not a Sunbreaker... A Defender. Yes a defender.

Shotguns were nerfed. They realized Chaperone could far outperform despite the nerf, so they re-aligned it. Stop crying. At least PVE damage got buffed. Also, if it was intended to be a PVP weapon, why do its perks suggest otherwise?

Might be able to one shot certain supers with the chaperone now so I'll reserve judgement until a later date

2 OdpowiedziIt's was made for headshot kills not for you to spam body shots, just like snipers. The update brought a nerf to pulse rifles, LNTC snipers, and other good things too.

It's because the game caters for casuals, cry babies and retards that can't get to grips with keeping their distance from a shotgun

Precision damage buff, which is what the shotgun is meant for. Nerf to body damage and shotgun net nerf is good because you can't just body shot spray someone with chaperone.
