Been sober from Destiny 10 days...

And I feel better than ever with not even a hint of a craving to do that horrid raid on Tuesday. I must say quitting destiny and playing normal games that dont require me to sit on 1 place for 6 hours grinding for no loot has really lifted my spirits. I think this is going to become permanent... I had all intentions of coming back eventually.. but now that I know how easy it is to not play destiny I dont think I will. Git u some gud games guardians. Maybe I will seeya all in destiny 2 when bungie pulls their head out of activisions arse. Edit; General response to several posts so I dont have to paste it on everyone; Like I said, I am a fan and hope the game can save itself, and I didnt intend on not playing anymore. New games are coming out and I have just found myself having more fun on them than on destiny. I didnt decide to quit, i just started playing other games and destiny has been displaced. If they can bring back the fun the game used to deliver I will probably be back. The only people defending this game still are fanboys, Im a fan but Im not blinded by being a fan. Edit; As I said, quitting was not the intention, but it happened due to new games. That was the point of my post, this isnt just another "I quit destiny" thread. I wasnted to discuss whats going on with the new holiday releases and talk to others who might be experiencing the samething Edit; Really happy with this thread, lots of new positive posts to read this morning. It seems we are all accepting that this game we have all enjoyed at one point or another in the past year might really die, and we are all here to let bungie know we liked their game before they started gettin crazy with it and stopped listening to our feedback. Much different than typical threads of this type. Usually 99% of the responses would be "git gud" or "good riddance" or "no one cares", i think we only got 2 or 3 of those here. Progress my friends. If we can come together as a community there might be a future here. But we are only half the issue. Even with a united community we face the issue of a big budget company with a product published by a publicly traded company that must see returns on investment. We must fight hard if we are to be heard. I understand Im just 1 person and no one really does care if 1 person is unhappy or quits, but together we make up their audience, we control whether they live or die as a business with this product. If you read the weekly news you all know how they like to brag about watching the numbers and how many players did this or that... well lets show them how many players are willing to give up Destiny time for a better product. Even if its just a day, if this community organised and didnt log on for a day, we would be in control. No more Luke throwing it in our face that they reserve the rights to do anything they want with their intellectual property, if we pulled something like this off all these current d bags like Luke would be out of a job and replaced by people who listen to fans. Edit; wow 750 replies here and only a handful of negativity, finally people are accepting and willing to talk about the problems with this game. There might be hope for the future.
