Nice professional piece of writing there DeeJ. Talking people down sarcastically. Thanks for giving enough of a damn about losing money provided by people tired of endless farming to listen.
Take what you will from this. I know I have.
Analogy:
Peasants:
"Hey, you cut off our water supply. Turn it back on please!"
Leaders:
"Hm, water seems perfectly fine to the King. Better act fast though just because you guys said so. Then again, we're in charge and this is our Kingdom.
*Spits at Peasants whilst whipping a child*
We do what we want. Lucky for you, turns out you guys were dying and the Kingdom's population was dwindling so yeah we decided to turn it back on. You're welcome."
Bungie didn't even give us the reason why did removed Weapon Parts in the first place. Most likely just to extend the grind and therefore the hours a player clocks into Destiny. Tired but pretty sure that analogy makes sense. And yes you should make your own judgment on whether or not it makes sense and not use what I said against me. :)
Vercingetorix07 (reply to NewestMonarchy)
No, a more accurate rendition is:
*Bungie takes away weapon parts.*
"WTF - I need weapon parts and can't get any!"
*Bungie brings back weapon parts, but now at a price*
*In response to criticism of the economy tampering, Bungie tells player base to just "deal with it" without offering a reason for unwanted changes*
Edit:
People who think I'm actually upset over this need to check themselves. I'm merely adding my perspective on what DeeJ said. Which was not funny in the slightest. Say "You just have no sense of humour." to your heart's content. Some people are oblivious to when they are being insulted unless it's blatant. And yes, I'm criticising DeeJ but I'm not the one representing Bungie. I'm posting on a Forum which is built for opinions. Not the same as writing a professional piece like DeeJ whilst simultaneously insulting the community.

Fictional World Problems

They don't lose money when people leave. They bought the game, they've got their moneys.
-
I agree in that it was a little condescending this time around. Maybe next time, he should try to not be SO teasing.
-
4 OdpowiedziHonestly, I hope the next time you dip your favorite cookie into a glass of milk, it breaks in half and drowns slowly...

How old are and what do you do fora living?

People are so sensitive these days. Grow up.

18 OdpowiedziWhat a whiny, oversensitive, little prick. It was a humorous aside, you uncultured swine.
-
Lol. Lighten up.
-
3 OdpowiedziI love how you actually made a good point but people will defend this game no matter what. Just finished trials and picking up my pre order for fallout 4 tomorrow :)

1 OdpowiedźAs DeeJ's personal trainer and sky diving instructor, I have to tell everyone that he is a mess after reading all your comments. He refuses to take any calls and he's gotten hooked on black tar heroine to cope with the pain. His family and fireteam are having an intervention. I hope all you hate mongers are happy because DeeJ is officially living under a bridge doing god knows what to get his next fix. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

This guy is a -blam!-in retard
-
Just link the article if you're going to cut out only parts that make your point here. You omitted some pieces and those are ones that don't make it sound as condescending as you implied. I don't disagree with your opinion, it's yours to have, but don't hide parts of the message to make a point. Need Weapon Parts? We know! We’ve read a lot of feedback about the abject poverty that was induced when we adjusted their drop rate. My Boss says things are getting dire for him! He’s down to only 1,656 of them, so we need to act fast. As part of the November update, we’re authorizing Banshee-44 as your Weapon Parts dealer. He’ll accept Glimmer as a form of payment. In all sincerity, as the curators of your living social world, we reserve the right to tinker with the economy. We also reserve the right to change our minds again once we’ve had a chance to read the forum. Thanks for giving enough of a damn to tell us what’s up.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Bungolickstaints: 11/10/2015 7:14:26 AMSupport honestly. I feel bad for Deej. BUT. He needs to re-evaluate how he interacts with the fanbase...he's the PR guy and he gets paid for it lol. He should evaluate and discuss Bungie criticism...not become a cause of it.

May everything you microwave be cold in the center

3 OdpowiedziI think he was trying to be funny... It didn't work but he tried.
-
2 OdpowiedziI think Deej's approach was unprofessional and disconnected from the issue that many members of the community are facing, weapon parts. Yes, many have pointed out that Deej is just a messenger. I hope you all understand that he is supposed to be a messenger for Bungie to the community and a messenger for the community to Bungie. I'm yet to see him speak for the community. It amazes me how (even in year 2) we see no effort from Bungie's community management team to capture the player's feedback with regards to a planned and upcoming change. This a lost opportunity as this partnership can offer better solutions for the longevity of the game instead of forcing players into a mindless grind.

2 OdpowiedziJust because your humor is different, doesn't mean that you're right.
-
2 OdpowiedziBoo -blam!-ing who all you people complaining are -blam!- bois. He tried to make a joke, I found it hilarious being that I similarly have a -blam!-load of weapon parts. You didn't. Get over yourselfs. Also this is text you can't possibly discern the tone of voice of the paragraph from txt. He could be sarcastic or condescending or he could be neither you don't know.

Hey I still have 665 of them

Lighten up.
-
Does no one understand that he was trying to be humorous about a shitty mechanic? Geez guys, its just a joke.
-
Perfect. He was a condescending f*** boi in the last update. "No weapons formed against me shall prosper". Bring on the pitchforks you Deej ball-jugglers!
