7 OdpowiedziMy thoughts, bluntly. It is not my concern how anyone else plays or their consumable consumption rate. I play the game my way. Sound familiar? As such, I try every weapon I get after leveling it (legendary or exotic) then decide to keep or trash on its own merit. I, therefore, consume parts rapidly. They are scarce to me. They weren't before. So, I have decreased my game play and moved to other games. In year one, I never ran low on parts! Never. By TTK release, I had >4000 parts and a similar number for armor. That is burning through over 1200 motes of light on reforming everything until it was what I wanted. With that rate of consumption I entered TTK with >8000 parts&Armor components and nearly 2000 notes of light, 800 strange coins. I now have 200 armor, 53 weapon, 2 coins and 20+ motes. It now takes over an hour to increase that number by 10. I have simple rules. One is that games are fun and entertaining. There is nothing fun or entertaining about scavenging for hours to acquire parts to enable weapons dropped randomly. It's work. I already have 2 jobs. They are fun and exciting. Grinding for weapon parts is neither. So, I dismantled all my year one legendaries. A full collection of every VOG, Crota, POE and Iron Banner gear on each character. When my exotic collection begins to be dismantled for parts, I will simply stop playing.

2 OdpowiedziYou don't speak for the whole community. But I appreciate your opinion. I found the update enlightening and exciting for the future of destiny. I'm very glad this game is a continued work in progress. It's come a long way since the release.

29 OdpowiedziThey addressed the LEAST of the problems Destiny is facing right now. Sure, the Weapon Parts famine is annoying, but not a huge deal. And it would be nice to have all this Etheric Light mean something, but let's face it, it's not going to be for anything extraordinary. Anyone here knows that. And a lot of people have an abundance of Wormspore, big deal. Trading it for Mouldering Shards and Antiquated Runes isn't going to make anyone drop Fallout 4/Halo 5/CoD/Battlefront etc. and come running back. I love how they talk about how they are prowling the forums and listening, and THIS is the news they address. Weapon Parts and Wormspore. I'm not sure what forums they've been browsing, but it sure as hell wasn't these. For every mention of Weapon Parts I've seen, there's been 10 talking about the ridiculousness that is the loot system, be that the Raid or Exotics. And the Infusion system and how agonizing it is to get 301 Hand Cannons from Oryx while all your favorite Primaries stay stuck at 303. What about the fact that these "Harrowed" hard mode weapons are more reused, repainted stuff? Where are all these Exotic armor pieces? No mention of any of this? Really? Thought they were prowling the forums? I know I'm starting to sound whiny and I don't want to. But I'd just like to know how they expected that news of Wormspore trading would calm the coming storm. I mean, Bungie isn't dumb. They can read the writing on the Coming Releases list. Destiny has won my free time, largely by default, in the past year or so. But these titles launching today and within the next month, combined with Halo 5... This is serious for them. I know this Beta Desticle is about to see his Destiny time drop DRAMATICALLY, it already has being that I haven't played in two days, and the game I'm waiting for hasn't even come out yet. And they really think that Weapon Parts and Wormspore are going to keep [b]everyone[/b] around? THIS is the problem I have...

Deej is just a mouthpiece for the marketing department. I hope their planned changes are intended to make the game easier to advance. I have enjoyed Destiny, despite it's chopped up initial year. I have developed problems with their "lowest performer gets the best rewards" standard, along with their promised changes that BARELY work, and how they consistently tell you that they are reducing rewards to slow down our advancement and progress. The 3oC farming was a bit of bullshit, but instead of putting a 10 minute timer on it or something, you guys reduce it's overall effectiveness. That douche in the interview says "People will throw money at us for emotes" and then you put a store in the tower for money and emotes. Granted, you almost got my money for the "The Carlton" but I resisted nonetheless. Quite frankly they have done outright and stated so that they intend to slow down the in game economy, which they did to great success. Only now instead of a grind and some rewards, we do the grind and get next to nothing, which was the worst mistake they could make in the game. Honestly, if they don't start giving back to the community in the form of what we start asking for, that being the chance to advance with the rest of the pack by grind or by raid, I'm going to hop on Tuesday, do the Nightfall, 3x Heroic Strikes, and do the daily bounties and I'll be off and onto battlefront for the rest of the week. And I won't be throwing down $60 for Destiny 2 next year just to have all my hard work quashed from Destiny Year 2. To be fair, your marketing team sends asshats for interviews, your creative team has creative potential but Activision screws that all up, so they might as well just be puppets, and your development team is sloppy (copy code from the oracles in VoG to the mines in the PoE), implementing changes without testing them thoroughly first (looking back at your news updates and how many forwards then backwards steps yall have made) and so on. Your updates and releases screw players who PAID FOR A GAME out of 75% of their game content unless they pay for the update, and you do not offer cross-platform play (or even giving Xbox 360 owners a copy of it when they upgrade the One, etc), and you have no dedicated servers other than the half-assed hybrid server system you own (which ironically you're going to tell me works quite well as I get matched with partners from England or Australia who have a latency in the SECONDS). This is not he Halo Bungie we have all come to know and love. This is the Bungie that was once great, but now has no structure to compel results from it's workers, and no workers that are worth a damn (EVERY PROMISE YOU GUYS HAVE MADE, LESS DUPLICATES, SMARTER RAID REWARDS, LESS REWARDS TO UNDERPERFORMERS, NO CROSS CLASS GEAR REWARDS ANYMORE, EVERY SINGLE ONE HAS NOT BEEN FULFILLED, BUT IF IT BENEFITTED US AS PLAYERS, ANY PROMISE YOU MADE TO SLOW US DOWN IN THE GAME, HELL EVEN TAKING AWAY XUR's GJALLARHORN IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES BUT TELLING THE COMMUNITY YOU CAN"T SAFELY MODIFY HIM YOU HAVE MANAGED TO PULL OFF IN THE OUTSTANDING BUNGIE FASHION WE KNOW YOU FOR). If you wanted to make a great game with creative control, you asshats could have done it in your garages working together, and after 2 or 3 years, could have produced a well-rounded and well played game. You guys would have been doing it for the fun, and would have had total control over it. Instead, you took the quick route and signed a deal with Activision and they butchered the shit out of it to make more money.

it was just him saying oh yea stuff is coming, idk when but its coming. oh and ya im going on vacation and chicago is home to bungie. im going to airport. cozmo is in charge of the desk which means he will do nothing and tell you nothing and continue doing absolutely nothing but lie to the community. remember the free stuff they were talking about microtransactions paying for. well activision just said no that isnt happening. that they will continue to release pay to play dlc along with more microtransactions.

Granted, I am happy that the people who were low on weapon parts can buy them now but this was something that should have never happened in the first place. You nerfed the parts drop rate. What I really want to hear addressed is the terrible legendary drop loot system in raids. Every week at least two people in my raid tem get NOTHING but moldering shards on Warpriest hard mode. No, we didn't do normal mode before it either. That just shouldn't happen. Adding to the terrible drop rates is the additional layer of RNG that determines if your item sucks or not. Oh, how I just love getting 300 light normal and 310 light hard mode drops. Lets not even get too much into the weapons because that is even another layer of RNG added on top of it. You need to get lucky to get a drop, then lucky for it not to be the auto rifle, fusion rifle, or hand cannon (at least they can be infused into something else though), then you need them to have a useful last perk. We all took a step forward with how we obtain most exotics, but two steps back with this new loot system. It's now harder than ever to hit max level, and although it doesn't mean as much as it did in year one, people still want to be the best they can. Lets not forget either: Draksis, Winter Kell has given out more loot than all of the raids/PvP combined. This is like RNGinception i tell ya, RNG in your RNG in your RNG.

I have to respectfully disagree. It was very useful. It clearly demonstrated that Bungie no longer cares about the community and what we think. It was very useful to me!

8 OdpowiedziFirst of all, don't say we as the people because you sure as hell don't speak for me. Second of all, your post is proof that Bungie just can't win, no matter what they do! They make exotics purely RNG in year 1, people cry because it takes them months to get what they really want. So they make time gated quests in year 2 that guarantee exotics but you just have to wait a few weeks, and guess what, people (like you) cry about it! So what do you want? All the exotics to be given to you as soon as you download the DLC? OK maybe that's a bit exaggerated. How about they make all the time gated quests available right away. Yea that's it, so then you can run through them in a week, have every exotic in the game, come to the forums, cry that you've done everything in a week and then stop playing! You say you want what you paid for, well with the time gated quests you're gaurunteed to get that in time, with RNG you're not.
