Chick's on your fireteam
Had a chick join last night for oryx.
She wanted to do normal strat which is my preference. There were a couple guys in the party, your average dorky destiny players and the second she spoke everyone's voices got lower and they all went into mac daddy mode. (I had to much myself because I was laughing so hard.)
Wtf is wrong with you guys? Have you never spoken to a female before?
Props to her though. She ran relic perfectly and we knocked ot out in one run.
Guys, the thirst is too real. Check yourselves.

Last edit. The post in this thread that have the most responses are by far the post that the gamer made it clear she was female right from the start. Just saying guys.

Also. Notice none of the chicks in this thread gave 2 shits about being called a chick? It's common in most parts or America and can refer to a girl or woman which is why I used it.

My friends and I always start yelling at whoever joins the game until they leave or ask what strategy we're doing. It's the easiest way to sort out the faint of heart.

I have one female friend I get on with, but the second she joined parties before she blocked them, it was all sexist comments and everyone tried to lower their voices to impress her lol. Getting them all gallons of water for Christmas

2 OdpowiedziI play side by side with my girlfriend, so shes usually in the party chat. But the only complaint our friends have is, when she joins our chat, randoms just start coming in our chat room or fireteam! We try and be polite but kids will be kids. Luckily she can stand her own. It gets a little sad after a while. Nonetheless, our clan has a great time messing with them.

37 OdpowiedziMost guys I've gamed with have been pretty cool,so I'm guessing I'm lucky. But whenever I've had issues it's with guys who I have never spoken to before,friends of a friend,they'll join my party after my friends ask if they can join,they hear I'm a girl and I get abuse. Not banter,but abuse. The other night a guy that my now ex team-mate knows joins us on the Nightfall so I invite him to the party chat. The minute I open my mouth he starts mocking my accent,mocks me being a girl and says I must be crap if I need help on the nightfall (never asked for help,was invited without my knowledge). I then realise it was the same guy from a few months ago who kept trying to tell me what to do while I was Sword-bearing at Crota,and I politely tell him that I appreciate the input but I know what to do since I used to solo it. And he proceeded to abuse me. My so called friend didn't stick up for me then and he didn't the other night. So I just turned off my console and left them to it. My so called friend tried having a go at me so I just blocked him. Don't have time for that.

2 OdpowiedziI had a chick on my fireteam the other day. It was an absolute nightmare. All they did was incessantly chirp into the mic and didn't move their character for the entire game. I'm still trying to work out how the hell a juvenile chicken even got hold of such an expensive console in the first place, let alone how they managed to switch it on and fire up a game using those stubby winglets...

1 OdpowiedźAnyone who is surprised that normal male/female interactions occur amongst gamers is stupid. Of course people flirt. People flirt with call centre operators for goodness sake. I have a fairly deep and well spoken telephone manner. I used to work in a call centre. Female callers, especially 40+ would flirt with me all the time. Girls I worked with got sent flowers and asked out all the time. The 60yo lady who sat opposite me got propositioned by every second customer. All we were doing was reading people their bank balances. That men, or teenage boys would act more "masculine" around a girl is hardly surprising. The surprising thing is that as a male you didn't. Have you never spoken to a female before? Were you nervous? Flirting is normal and it is entirely possible to be flirtatious without sexual harassment.

24 OdpowiedziI have an obvious 'female' gamer tag.I have only ever received random invites and messages when I have been levelling up my alts. Once I hit 40...nothing. It's like they want to 'help' or something ;) I hate using a mic though. My voice sucks (insert obvious 'joke' here).

Oh well -blam!- it gotta stay hydrated :D I work 3rd shift and a couple of my friends do as well its not as easy to get a raid going because most people are not awake or already at work when we get off We're looking for general players that are on mostly everyday from 7am-2pm central time zone 290 plus for weekly raids nightfalls crucible runs if you need to do normal raids to get better gear before hard we will help If interested message me here or on psn at mez-crippin I'm on ps4 were a very casual laid back couple of guys that really just like raiding don't shy away we will help!
