How far into the future will CoD go?
I feel like it just keeps going on and going on, sooner or later it's just going to be Destiny under a different name.

Probably for a long time. It is a good average FPS game that doesn't change much so it has a steady game play flow.

Maybe they will go so far into the future that time travel has been invented. If that happens, then we can travel back to WW2 and save lots of lives. We start each mission with a futuristic gun, but without more ammo you have to use WW2 guns. Multiplayer would be a crossover of black ops 2 and WaW. Boom, profit.

Hopefully they'll stop with that soon. Imo Black Ops 2 was the pinnacle of "future" I wanted from a CoD. Didn't want it to get too futuristic

Hopefully so far that they find a time machine and stop themselves from making every game after CoD 2 and keep it in the WWII era

I will give it 8 years then we will see it is because people buy it personally I hate the franchise but I play assassins creed so I can't really say much

I'm not buying black ops,nothing against the game though. A call of duty set in medieval times with just swords,shields and crossbows,trebuchets etc would be an interesting multiplayer mode with teams attacking and defending a castle.
