Black Spindle is not worth my time.
I've played a destiny from day 1 and have kinda considered myself a collector of exotics. Now I didn't get everything, the Nechrochasm for example, but I got most of all of the exotics. I'm giving up on that now. I'd love to get the black spindle, but God damn is it hard to get. And from what I've seen and heard about the weapon, it is not worth the hours of frustration. So all those who have it, good for you. Me on the other hand, I will never try to get the damn thing again. I'd rather not pull out what remaining hair I have, thank you very much.
Edit: I'm actually kinda surprised by the response I've got from this post. Thanks for everyone who is confirming it's actually worth the effort. That's been my main beef really. Also, big thanks to everyone who has offered to help me out. It's people like you who make the Destiny community the best. Seriously folks, keep being awesome.

No it's worth the effort, next time take in two people with exotic solar swords and the third uses sleeper simulate on the blights. Finished with 1:30 to spear after clearing the ads

Haven't taken mine out if the vault in many weeks,I use touch of malice,1000 yard stare with more ammo boots & chest piece,faster reload gauntlets.

Is simple when you know exactly what to do. At the boss your main goal should be to take out the blights. There is an end to the ads, after 3 or 4 rounds of blights all of which coincide with his health. First round is there automatically, second round is at like 90% percent health, then about 65-70%, then one or two more at lower health. as soon as they spawn taking them out is your first priority. Helps to know that. And transcendence warlocks help a whooooooole lot when it comes to killing ads. Did it my first try this past daily once I realized that there was an end to ads. Yes it is! So good for the raid and any nightfalls! Could help you too, if you're on PS4. I've done it about 4 or so times trying to get that Vienna Singer, but that bitch is elusive! Have yet to beat the raid though. On any difficulty...

Definitely worth it, I LOVED my Black Hammer, in fact it was my first Crota drop and I was like "OMG WTF WHY IS THIS A THING" the first time I used it on a boss. Not sure if it should be exotic after the nerf to my favorite perk ever, but I'll use it either way. I would help you, but I'm usually only on during the weekends, and I gotta get those nightfalls and weekly bounties in, and I can't forget about the raid either. Hope you get it next time it's up though, it's a really great weapon if you're a decent PVE sniper.

Black sindle would only be worth the effort if it had the original white nail perk and dropped at 310. I prefer my 1000 yard stare.

Yes, it's a very hard mission (no sex jokes pls), but you can do this. With the right team, you can punch the bosses tiny little head in and wipe out his asshole friends

You can do it. I do recommend going in with a team all above 298 and with good connection. The spindle is fantastic. Great for walkers, tanks, and ultras. It is even handy in pvp, it hits pretty hard BUT reload is kinda slow. It has a nice crisp discharge sound effect and looks awesome.

The closest my teams got is killing the boss with 2 seconds to kill adds. Yeh. Not gonna happen.

It's hard but very much doable. Communication is key, and there a couple things you could do to benefit you completing it Have a shadow walker with bow that explodes and gives orbs for it will benefit you and your team Have a Titan with Sunbreaker to clear those adds And have a warlock with either storm caller or radiance to wipe out adds quickly

2 OdpowiedziI completely agree with you. The last two times it's come around I've tried really hard to get it. Came close once. It is infuriating to the point of simply not being worth it. "No reward is worth this." High impact snipers are better for the raid. Sleeper Simulant does more damage than anything in the game... Twice per shot if you ricochet just right. Black Spindle is a red herring.
