Trials of Ospecialweapons
Is it really the most competitive thing in Destiny PvP? It really is pretty sad that your choice and ability to use a special weapon is what is deemed as skillful these days.
Ohk with a sniper
Ohk with a shotgun
Sidearms-well 1 in 10000 may use this.
Seems like the actual gun play is lacking from trials.
Why does the supposed pinnacle of PvP rely so heavily on special weapons?

3 OdpowiedziCall of duty 1 shot in the head kill battlefield 1 shot to the head dead tiranfall ahot to the head dead. A sniper is made for a 1 shot kill thats the point of the damn gun

12 OdpowiedziHere is an idea. Let's take all weapons out of the game and everyone just use rocks. This way everyone is in the same playing field and the only reason you fail is because you suck. I'm horrible at crucible, not because of other people but because I am less skilled than others. If you can head shot me the instant I walk out from cover, good for you. I can't so I try other tactics

I like an exchange of volleys and using defensive cover. Any game with a OHK gun (including snipers and shotguns) isn't fun.

1 OdpowiedźI don't really find this as too much of a problem, but then again, I'm a sniper, heh. Some easy solutions: 1. lower special crates spawn rate significantly. Maybe 1 every minute of a round. 2. Keep spawn rates, but everyone spawns with absolutely no special ammo [b]each round[/b]. 3. Spawn with a set amount of special ammo each round, but remove ammo crates entirely. This way you only get a set amount of special to use each round, with exceptions like invective.

Just because I love it so much, I'll tell u what my primary is lol the primary I use for Trials is a Byronic Hero with Outlaw and Luck in the Chamber lol its soooo great

1 OdpowiedźDude seriously what other kinds of guns are there? There are guns you use in close quarters and guns you use at range. Yea it's a video game but I mean they are trying with this fusion rifle archetype. There simply just are not guns that aren't one or the other when it comes to a special situational weapon. There's not really much else you can do in this category. I mean I guess you could let us equip double primary but idk

I went an entire match without getting killed by a primary once. All headshots and shotguns. Not saying I'm against it, it happens. I found it hilarious tho, maybe that'll change with a new map that doesn't offer so many sniping lanes

It depends on how you play. Some are snipers, of course they are going to use them. Some rush with shotguns, but that is generally not a good strategy for more than one round. I personally am not a good sniper, so I run a shotgun. However, my primary is far more effective (at least for last week). Nobody is dumb enough to lose more than a round against rushing shotgunners.

5 OdpowiedziI think it'd be more balanced if snipers, shotguns, and fusions (who uses those though) only had 10 shots throughout the entire trials match. Sidearms would obviously have more. But this would force you to save it for certain situations and not allow you to just rush with a shotgun or sit back and snipe the whole time.

1 OdpowiedźI haven't played trials in y2, but one of my friends does and he said that 90% of his deaths in trials has been from snipers or shotguns.

4 OdpowiedziAA doesn't put the crosshairs onto the player you have to move it yourself what i see AA doing is slowing the cross hair down to make it easier u still have to aim.
