Solution to "Touch of Malice required for Kingsfall hard mode"
In order to DPS Oryx on had mode, many require 5/6 members to have the Touch of Malice while Bungie released a gun that could serve the same purpose. Why not use the No Time to Explain puns rife? The exotic perk allows precision shots to return a shot to the magazine, so as long as your hitting Oryx's weak spot it should work just like Touch of Malice.

Wouldn't No Time To Explain be harder to receive then the Touch of Malice? Like, if you're having issues with ToM, while bring up another gun that has requirements?

Oryx's weak spot is not a critical hit which is what is needed for NTTE to get back rounds, so no, this would not work.

The reason touch is so good is the infinite ammo and the high damage output in that final round. If oryx had a crit point a sniper would be better for the precision damage alone, let alone if you were using Black Spindle for no reload. Not that you'd have to reload anyway. A group of snipers hitting precision crits would stagger Oryx regardless. But since a oryx doesn't have a crit point you'll be spamming the highest damage weapon and that's always the malice.

3 OdpowiedziOnly precision shots. And malice does bonus damage with last shot. Malice was built for the raid. Here's a solution for anyone having a problem getting a team for hard raid because they don't have the malice. GO GET THE MALICE. Just go do it. It's not that hard. It doesn't take 10 years. Just go get the damn thing.

The gun is not given through RNG like ice breaker or ghorn were so no just get the -blam!-ing gun.

2 OdpowiedziTouch of Malice is a fair requirement for Kings Fall HM. Beat the Normal mode. Do the -blam!-ing fragments and do the quests and you get it in what? 2 days? Yea get over it

It's really not that hard to get the malice, just takes time and effort.

If you have ever done Oryx before, you would know that Oryx's chest is NOT a critical hit when you shoot it. Oryx has NO critical spots.
