I dont really feel the urge to play anymore. I REALLY enjoy the raid, but thats about it.
I don't really remember why i used to play for hours with no set goal, but at one point i actually enjoyed it.
Now, nightfall is fairly pointless. Pisses me off. Tuesdays were always nightfall/heroics with my friends. They quit weeks ago, i doubt ill do another nightfall anytime soon.
only place to progress is hard raid or ToO (not a big fan of crappy crucible, and cheaters with no fear of repercussions).
Exotic bounties are unfun and give you mostly situational weapons.
Just feels like Bungie tried way too hard to get us to grind more, and screwed up the actual enjoyment of the game.
Yes, i realize this is just my opinion.
Edit: Wow, that's a lot of replies, and in a strange occurrence, only a couple "git gud"s. I don't know if ive ever seen so many players agree.
Edit: I wish i could reply to all of you. I gotta say, im bolstered by the fact that an overwhelming majority are if the same sentiment. Thank you all for not turning it into huge rage fest with everyone bickering and telling each other to git gud. Im just glad to see im not the only guardian that feels this way.
Edit: Funny how Bungie has something to say about "the weapons drought of 2015" and not putting raisins in your vault because you'll get ants, yet nothing to say to the disappointed players that invested hundreds and/or thousands of hours in their game.
Its cool. They prolly assume people are going to return after playing another game for a while.
I havent played in a couple days. Not playing anything else, just have less than zero desire to play destiny.

Not just your opinion guardian. A lot of us unfortunately feel the same. The fun factor is gone. Please fix it Bungie.
-
Agreed let's stop giving them cash and we all know they will start to panic.
-
It use to be if you wanted to get some thing or level up you could just play the game. NOW you have to play, pray to rng and then if you get shat on your stuck while your buddies level on past you and have moved on up to higher content leaving you on lfg sites looking for a team that actually knows what they are doing.

Play classic 3v3 and use a pulse rifle. Most fun u will ever have.

4 OdpowiedziI miss HoW Destiny
-
We're all quitting. How much repetition are we going to stand. How much if our money can we continue to give for a company that lies to us and cuts content so even are wallets are on a grind paying for the same thing three times.
-
totally agree. I really love what destiny could be. ..but not what it currently is
-
2 OdpowiedziI totally agree, it was as if a switch had been flipped in my head from on to off, and now there is no desire to grind. 1200 hours of play and then my first gally dropped (2 weeks later xur sold it) but after that drop I was totally done. I now have no patience for end game. Beaten normal and hard raid several times but was never in a rush, when we hit a wall doing normal for the first time I gave it maybe 15 wipes or so, then left it till the week after. Same with hard mode orxy. It's a shame I love destiny, but at the same time don't want to play. I think I ruined it for myself with the amount I played up till HOW. As good as taken king is, it's still a dlc, and didn't hold my intrest for very long. I'll just wait for free dlcs or possibly destiny 2.

1 OdpowiedźAs crazy as it sounds, I'd be willing to re grind and chase all Y1 exotics if they were brought up to Y2 value. It saddens me that I might be leaving some good friends behind do to lack of interest.
-
8 OdpowiedziI used to spend hours in cosmodrome just riding my sparrow. The dreadnaught is a cool idea, but it isn't a great place to kill time. Plus I always hated cabal and their noisy rocket spam.
-
Yeah, I don't plan on doing a nightfall unless it is convenient when a 2 man team invites me. This past nightfall awarded me 2 fkn ghost shells. Are you kidding me? Ghost shells? Not to mention when I was awarded these ghost another player got one as well. The best reward was 17 3 of coins.
-
I agree completely. After light level 300-310, the game becomes pretty lackluster with nothing to look forward to.

2 OdpowiedziIt's good to see players waking up and seeing Destiny for what it is. Hopefully with enough players losing interest like this, it'll push Bungie to hugely rethink what they put out in future. I don't want Destiny to die, but I don't want it to live on as it is: an unrewarding grind. And to the fanboys who blindly defend the game, you're doing yourselves a disservice. Plain and simple.
-
Every Tuesday was 3 nightfall's and weeklies. Now it's not worth the effort. I miss the 20% XP Bonus. You used to get 500 faction rep from a NF Nowa it's like 60?!?! WTF. It's harder to lvl up factions now too. What a disappointment

2 OdpowiedziAgreed. New light system=old system with more grind
-
3 OdpowiedziThe ironic part is that bungie said, before TTK release, that they don't want the game to be a grind, that's why they didn't bother updating the old stuff.
-
Over extended is a good description... They made a definite improvement in TTK but I think they took the initial response from players too heavily and let off the gas some. Not to avoid the fact they made up for past issues to introduce new ones in the form on this micro-trans stuff (to note) that take those same steps right back.

7 OdpowiedziAgreed! I hated all PVP except Iron Banner. Now, I play PVP more than anything else. I refuse to do this 'raid'! I have done each component separately but refuse to have one completion. It is insulting the rewards being dropped. It's insulting the combining of VOG, Crota and POE and its sale as a 'new raid'. I no longer nightfall. My team of 85 players are down to 5! None stay up for reset. None raid and none nightfall. I fact, I am one of only a few still playing at all. I guess I am a die hard. Grinding is past tense for me. I will not do it. One reason: I did it year one and made three characters to triple my odds. Took months, thousands of hours and hundreds of raids/Nightfalls/strikes to get my gear, then in one update, all was obsolete. Never again...
-
I've done all available quests on my warlock and started my Titan and done the raid once but yeah I agree, I avoid my Titan and haven't even started my hunter for the fear on repetition to come.
-
I am in the same boat, I am at a point now where I do hard mode 3 times per week and thats it for the most part.
-
I still really enjoy Destiny. It's probably my most played game. But I understand. I'm starting to feel a tad burnt out. Not a bad thing, this happens when we play too much of a game for too long with out anything else to change things up once in a while. BO3 will be enjoyable, just like Halo 5 was. Doubt anything will replace Destiny as my main game, except for its sequel, of course.
