Stormtrance - the worst super in the game by far.
Pretty underwhelming in PvE but in the Crucible, guaranteed to get you killed because you're not doing much damage and you're a fluttering duck, easy picking for any enemy nearby. This subclass does have one of the best grenades and melees in the game but the super just blows. Really, really, really blows. I've leveled all three classes and give the best supers to Titans by far. Hunter supers are fair at best and, if not for this Stormtrance dog of a super, Warlocks with their Nova Bombs and Radiance would be pretty close to Titans.
I expect the Hammer of Sol to get a nerf at some point but come on Bungie, while you're at it, figure out a way to buff up the Stormtrance and make it actually useful at something other than making you so much easier to kill.

In my opinion it is one of the best supers. If you know how to use it, you are a monster in pve and pvp.

Edytowany przez użytkownika lepetitmortman: 11/8/2015 7:21:55 PMU have to be stealth with it. You can't pop it in front of a crowd. I also advise sticking to corridors. Use it properly and you can mow down the 3 to 4 players easily. I've wiped out entire unsuspecting teams a few times with it.

2 OdpowiedziAre you dumb? Stormtrance is the preeminent crowd clearer in PvE and wrecks shop in PvP. In a few quick seconds you can down a team without hardly aiming and simply holding the trigger down. If you can play well with Stormtrance you may need to pick up a different game

Just deleted my warlock for another hunter.. played the raid on him last night and hated every minute lol. Not for me

Disagree about its PVE use. I don't honk there's a better super for clearing out adds. And it's not exactly a fluffy pillow against ultras, either. PVP, supers are a bit of a gamble anyway. Pop it at the right time and make smart use of cover and you'll be fine.

Stormtrance is great if you are using it against someone who panics a lot (guaranteed death for enemy) ,but if you are using it against someone who is calm he can instantly no scope you or shoot you twice with a shotgun to put you down

And honestly the amount of damage we do in Crucible is just stupid, it shouldn't take four zaps just to kill a guardian when a damn gunslinger can instant one shot you from anywhere, or how getting hit by a tether in Stormtrance is very easy. Then we get "blink" more like blinks half retarded grade school brother, it's decent but nothing spectacular and it uses energy. The class needs actual blink and the super needs a sprint mode, you're by far the slowest roaming super I'm the game as a Stormcaller. I'd like my super to actually feel powerful so I don't have to go back to Radiance, or Nova Bomb. The super overall feels weak and underwhelming, you're essentially a glass cannon and it's stupid, you can deal large amounts of damage 'if' you survive long enough to do so. The super is awful, but the class is cool.

6 OdpowiedziPvp: 9.5 PvE: 5 Range is to short Die to easily And they make no orbs. I always think the same thing when I see a stormtrancer and a guy with a sword in a strike or raid. Great looks like I'll be reviving them a lot.
